So here's the criteria all the judges will base the graphics on;
-Font; 5 marks
Sometimes the font of your graphic doesn't fit with the mood of the cover, which can lead to deduction of points.
(For example; it's a murder mystery theme, and your graphic's font is all colorful and curvy.)
-Color scheme; 5 marks
Sometimes your graphic's color scheme doesn't fit with the theme either. (Let's say you have a comedy theme, but your graphic consists of only black and white, that can be a deduction of points in creativity.)
-Mood; 5 marks
If the graphic's mood gives you positive vibes on the graphic itself relating to the theme, then you know you've done it right! (For example; if the theme or instructions the client gives you is 'dark and mysterious' you have to find that right amount of 'dark and mysteriousness' that fits with the theme or description)
-Attractiveness; 5 marks
Sometimes your graphic's attractiveness can be underrated. (Not saying it can be ugly, and this is not aimed at ANYONE.) Maybe you wanted the graphic in a certain way that you think is suitable, but sometimes it doesn't fit the judge all that well, leading to a deduction of points. (All of your graphic's are awesome, just saying!)
-Relatedness; 10 marks
Sometimes your graphic doesn't fit in with the description, for example does your graphic have anything in it relating to the theme or description? Does it give you that same feeling the theme or description gives you? (Another example is; the theme is about a dancer who falls in love with someone, and gasp! Your graphic has a girl playing piano on it.)
-Overall enjoyment; 10 marks
I don't think I need to explain this one, as I probably will enjoy everyone's! But I basically means, does it catch the judge's eyes?
-Total; 40 Marks
