"I hate these people. If that wasn't clear before, then it should be now. I hate these people."

"You're not the only one, believe me."

"I mean, at least we know it's really them, but come on! How do you even navigate this place?!"

"Maybe if you two would shut up for a minute, I could tell you."

Shadow's obvious tone of 'cut-the-crap' easily got the two field agents quiet. After suiting up and reviewing the known intel, you and the rest of Silver's chosen team had boarded an E.P.A. helicopter and flown to the coordinates of the now revealed warehouse. Upon arriving at the location, it was seen that the place was hidden in plain sight. A thermal scan from the outside in revealed that there was nothing out of the ordinary with the ground levels up. Instead, the secret - and most likely illegal - infrastructure was located underneath the ground. It could only be accessed by a special elevator, one that had been cleverly hidden within a wall. However, its disguise was no use against the thermal scans and Shadow.

Currently, you and Silver were at the bottom of the elevator shaft, stepping out into a wide room with high ceilings.

Very high ceilings. Definitely higher than what was portrayed through the scans. But a view of the entire massive space was blocked by the maze of walls that sprouted up from the cement flooring. Some small gaps in the walls showed different rooms of sorts, with different furniture or other such items. The lighting was dim for such a big space, but the faint noise of humming technology was enough to let you and Silver know you were not alone.

First thought: Overkill. This place was way too advanced for a low level drugs/weapons cartel. There was no doubt in your mind now that everything you'd been tracking thus far had been a decoy. None of it matched this level of sophistication.

You looked back to the minuscule camera you'd on the wall, right next to the elevator door. It was a thermal scanner Shadow had had you take into the basement, giving him a better visual of the space then what he could've gotten from the cameras on the helicopter, which was stationed on a building about a block away. Morgan and the Commander would be piloting the mission from there. The camera was blinking red, signaling that Shadow was still in the process of setting up the scans, but once the light turned a solid green, it was clear he was ready to go.

"Turn on the heat in your suits," was his first command, and both you and Silver adjusted a knob on the forearm of your outfits. As was customary for E.P.A. field missions, both the (a/t) and hedgehog were wearing sleek black body suits, with black boots and gloves. Various holsters and clips were attached to the clothes, allowing the agents to carry different weapons and field tech on their person at all times. Most of the suits were the same, however Silver had to have his custom made so that the shoes and gloves wouldn't inhibit his powers at all. Not only might you need them, but he had made it very clear that he didn't like not having control over them. Besides, the tailored suit fit him pretty well... Wait.

The only thing about the suits that you didn't like was the lack of masks, or any kind of identity cover. It felt wrong to be so open with something as dangerous as a face. A face could give away everything. Shadow's only consolation on the matter was that there was tech that could deface masks and reveal identities anyway, and that this mission was no contact. Well, supposed to be anyway.

"Now," Shadow began, after your suits had been adjusted. "Looking at the scans, the only real pattern I'm seeing is a circle. All the rooms themselves are square in shape, flowing in an off-set pattern that follows a circle shape. Based off the furniture outside going in, I'm going to assume that your trophy is in the center of this layout."
