"Oh my gosh Kristin, I can't believe you're ditching me for a month and a half during summer break, you are like the worst best friend ever!" Tori exaggerated as she helped me pack for my trip.
"Thanks Tori, have you forgotten that I am being forced to go to California to stay with my uncle and his family cause my parents want to enjoy Mexico without me?" I snorted.
"You do know that I was joking," Tori said as she rolled her eyes, "but bring back some souvenirs... and some hot guys, then you will be my most awesomazing friend."
"Yeah, whatever just help me pack."
"Imagine if you met Justin Bieber," Tori randomly said.
"Wha-?"
"I SAID IMAGINE IF YOU MET JUSTIN BIEBER! According to People Magazine, Justin Bieber is staying at the Grande Hotel in Los Angles- isn't that the hotel your uncle manages?"
"Holy crap, I now officially believe you are a stalker" I half-joked.
"No, I'm just a normal girl who's madly in love," she said, shifting her twinkling eyes to a nearby Justin Bieber poster that she gave me for my birthday last year, "and one day he will fall in love with me back."
"What if he doesn't?"
"THEN I'll RAPE HIM!" Tori joked loudly.
I threw a pillow at her and told her to shut-up, I don't want my parents getting the wrong idea about my best friend even though she can be a bit... out there.

After several hours of last minute packing and good-byes (mainly from Tori), I was driven to the airport. I sat on the plastic chairs, waiting for the signal to board the plane while vigorously texting Tori. Half of our conversation was Tori trying to convince me to get a hotel room near Justin Bieber, and the other half was her saying how much she would miss me. I was half-way through texting Tori to quit texting me about JB (Justin Bieber), when i was interrupted by the signal to board the plane.
I love airplanes; the fat man snoring beside me, bad airplane food, cramped seats and small washrooms didn't bother me at all. It was all part of the exciting airplane experience. I got out my iphone and plugged in the earphones, blasting the song "Airplanes" by BoB. I closed my eyes to slowly drift off into the deep abyss of dreams, slightly hoping that at least my subconsciousness may let me meet JB.

"Folks, we have begun our decent to Los Angeles, California, where the current weather is seventy degrees. We will be in the gate in about twenty minutes. The flight attendants will prepare the cabin for arrival. Thank-you for flying with us today."
I immediately shot up from my sleep, picked up my earphones that fell out of my ear and waited for landing. I knew exactly where to go and what to do because every time my parents go on vacation without me, I get sent to stay at my Uncle's hotel or apartment. When the plane finally landed and the passengers were allowed to slowly get off the plane, a spark of excitement began to well up inside me. I couldn't wait to see my uncle- he was so cool and let me do pretty much anything I wanted as long as I didn't get into trouble.
When I got off the plane and collected my suitcases, I went to the area where all the families were waiting. I eventually saw my uncle and he embraced me in a big bear hug.
"UNCLE TED!"
"Oh Kristin, I have exciting news for you- Justin Bieber is staying at my hotel!" my uncle said as he squeezed me into a tighter hug.
"Tori already told me, but seeing my awesome uncle is way more exciting!"
"Sucking up already? Fine, I'll let you have the penthouse suite."
"I thought we were staying at your house?"
"The thing is, this month, I have a lot of big time celebrities staying here. This is good publicity for our hotel and I need to be there pretty much 24/7 to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. Sorry if we don't get to spend as much time together as you planned."
"Yes, I will definitely miss the niece and uncle bonding time" I said sarcastically. My uncle scowled as I laughed loudly. Uncle Ted wasn't like my mom he was chill and knew I was a 16 year old girl which meant that once in a while I will be a little bit "rebellious". Although I don't think dissing your uncle would count as being rebellious. Whatever.
My Uncle led me to a silver Mercedes-Benz; when I saw it, I gave him a bored expression and I said, "another one?"
"Hey, I can't help it if buying cars is my hobby," my uncle said, putting his hands up in defence.
"Ted, collecting stamps is a hobby- NOT BUYING CARS! Imagine all those poor people living in-"
"Kristin McKay, you do not talk to me like that or I will change my mind about buying you a nice car," Uncle Ted interrupted.
That definitely shut me up because through out the rest of the car ride, I just sat there, looking out the window- observing the streets of california. I put on my aviator sunglasses from Guess and counted each palm tree we passed by. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven..."
After sometime, my uncle put the car to a stop in the main entrance. I looked all the way up, trying to catch a glimpse of the top of the hotel but the bright a$$ sun was in my eyes, despite the fact that I was wearing sunglasses.
An old man in a grey tuxedo ran up to us, followed by a bellboy (who looks like he probably just graduated high school) in red. When the old man approached us, he greeted me with a warm hello, then turned to my uncle and greeted him with a weary look on his face. My uncle nodded and murmured, "Mr. Giovanni?" They then turned their backs at me and started talking about something I didn't bother listening to. When I turned around, I saw the bellboy was looking at me and we exchanged eye contact. I shifted my eyes up and down looking at his body then his face... then his body. I mentally hit myself in the head- stop checking out the bellboy! My head was saying no, but my body was screaming YES! Without thinking, I mindlessly walked up to him.

Authors Note:
Okay, this is my first time using Wattpad so this is pretty exciting for me. I hope you like it so far (I know it's a slow start but it gets much better, trust me). I have the whole story planned out, but I am open to suggestions. This may seem like a predictable story... or maybe not- depends on my mood :P
I just wanted to mention, I am not an obsessive Justin Bieber fan. I wrote this just for fun because I have always dreamt on meeting a celebrity. Why I used Justin Bieber? I don't know. Please go easy on the comments, I will take any constructive criticism, but please, no harsh comments.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this (there's more to come). Please vote and get other people to read it too (it gives me motivation to write more).
To all you Justin Bieber fans, I'm sorry if I get any Justin Bieber facts wrong later on. I know the name of the protagonist is Kristin, but just replace the name with your name ;)
P.S.
For the geographically challenged people: Los Angles is a city in California and California is a state in the U.S.A. For the really geographically challenged people: U.S.A. Stands for "United States of America" and that is a country in the continent called "North America."
