You probably know what a wedding is. Even if you never went to one, you dream of marrying the perfect guy or girl in the future and live an incredible life with them, or not.

For Draco, that was scary. Getting attached to someone who could easily leave him, but life was always made of risks, wasn't it? Merlin, he sounded like a Gryffindor. Pansy's words hadn't left the Slytherin's mind since then. He needed to show Harry he wanted to be with him forever. Forever was a long time.

What if Harry didn't want "forever" like him? There was that scary thought again.

Draco left his room as soon as he woke up, leaving Harry alone in their bed. He took his breakfast with only one thought currently in his mind. The Malfoy rings.

These rings had been in the Malfoy family since he could remember. The Malfoy name itself had a certain requint in it, they were one of the most old families of Wizards to ever exist. And the man who started this heritage had used those rings when he got married.

It was quite a story if Draco remembered well. Frederic Malfoy, the first Malfoy to ever exist and to be sorted into Slytherin. He wanted to be friends with a girl he spotted when he entered Hogwarts. She was stunning, her blonde hair falling to her shoulders and her Mercury eyes shining whenever the light hit them. He said it was love at the first sight.

But then, she was sorted into Gryffindor and he never stood a chance. They had been fighting the whole time they went to Hogwarts, except for their last year when she found him at his worst, knowing his father had died. She stayed with him for the night... and the day after.. and the day after that.. and just like that, they fell in love.

Draco stopped. That sounded a lot like him and Harry, the fighting included, except that when Harry had found Draco crying, he had thrown a Sectumsepra at him. That was true love, I guess, Draco laughed.

He walked into what once was his father's office and kept remembering the story. They fell in love, but Frederic didn't know how to show it to her. But he knew he did. He knew she was the one he wanted to spend FOREVER with.

So he made two rings himself, a green and silver one and a red one with a tiny little message on the inside:

"I am a Malfoy, and love I've never felt. But then you appeared, and this feeling came up with absolutely no warning and now I'm doomed. I need you to be mine for the rest of my life."

Draco reached his father's desk and let himself sat in his chair for a while, before opening a small box that layed on it. There they stood, the two rings as if no one had ever touched them before.

They were simply used in the proposal, then the couple would make their own, special ones. But using these rings to propose to your loved one was a tradition in the Malfoy family and Draco was seriously considering going through with it.

But his head was also filled with "What if's?" that he couldn't shake off . What if it was too soon? What if Harry wasn't ready? What if Harry didn't fel the same way? What if Harry said no?

These questions tormented Draco the whole day, as he did nothing but stare at the rings intensely the whole afternoon until he heard a knock on his door.

"Can I?"

"What are you doing here Weasley?"- Draco asked.

"Harry owled me, but now he's in a serious talk with Hermione and they didn't seem to want me there. I'm bored."- Ron took a seat.

"And you thought I would get you out of the boredom?"

"Yes, you insulting me is better than absolute silence."- Ron spoke.

Draco blinked. Ron was Harry's best friend, maybe he could ask him. No wait, the most viable option would be a disgusted look from Ron and a warning not to do what he desired to in that moment.

"You're thinking."

"Yes, Weasley, you should try it sometime."

"Is it about Harry?"- he asked.

"What else?"- he sighted.

"Did you two fight? He seemed ok"- Ron crossed his arms.

"No, we didn't fight, it's actually quite the opposite."

"What?"

Draco opened the box and showed the rings to Ron, whose mouth was now fully open in shock.

"Go ahead and tell me it is a bad idea, its nothing I haven't thought about by now."

Ron sighted and thought before he answered:

"It's not... a bad idea. I think he wants it too."

"What?"

"I just never.. I never saw Harry looking at someone like he does with you. Don't get me wrong, its disgusting, but.. well, he feels the same way."

"So I should..?"

Ron nodded.

"You most definitely should."
