"They should be here by now!"-Hermione kept walking from one side to another, non stop. 23 hours had passed since the two boys left in their expedition to get the ERUC and they still hadn't returned. The girl wouldn't stop blaming Harry's obliviousness, leaving their brooms behind, she knew they would already be there if they had taken them.
And the two boys were equally stressed as they ran to the small house Draco had taken Harry when the last one got suspicious of his shady actions. Harry had to admit he had never seen Draco run in his whole life and he enjoyed the view.
He enjoyed as his blonde hair flew in the wind and the sun shine on his face, revealing every single imperfection of the boy but those imperfections were equally perfect in Harry's view. He watched Draco sweating for the first time and he couldn't deny it even if he tried, the Slytherin looked hot. Extremely hot. Harry had to stop staring otherwise he knew he would get turned on and that was definitely not the moment.
After good 20 minutes, they arrived and Hermione yelled at them:
"Thank Merlin, I thought you wouldn't make it!"
"Granger"-Draco said as he tried to gain air again-"It's Potter, have you ever seen him failing something?"
"Tests"- she said.
"Meals"- Ron let out.
"Comitments"- Ginny raised an eyebrow and the blonde gazed at her in shock-"Relax, I'm kidding. Now, are we doing this or what?"
Draco nodded and walked inside. Hermione took the tiny bottle that contained the liquor from ECUR and slowly mixed it, opening it minutes after.
She asked Draco to call Pansy so he did:
"Draco, love, you're back! I missed you so,so,so,so,so much my teddy bear!"- the girl bit his lip, her eyes filled with lust and desire, but not love. Of course it wasn't love. What Pansy felt for Draco even if it was years ago, was mere attraction. And not even this potion could make her fall in love, truly. It was an experience of fake love, dependence that would end today if everything went as Hermione had planned.
"I need you to drink it. I made it with love only for you.."- Draco forced a smile as he said those words and Harry tried his best not to start laughing.
The girl nodded and took the bottle in her hands, taking a sip. They watched as she quickly fel on the floor, screaming as loud as she could, in a pain none of them could describe. They all stepped away except for Draco, who stood and tried to help his friend even though he knew being there or not wouldn't make a difference. But something in him didn't let him turn his back on Pansy. She was his friend and Draco missed her, like he missed Blaise. But he supposed he missed the girl more and they hadn't talked well, since the kiss. With the war coming, they had become distant from one another and then, the curse.
Pansy had always supported Draco no matter what and it's excused to say the girl was head over heels for any sort of relationship between Draco and Harry. In her words, 7 years ago:
"You two are perfectly wrong for each other. And that's exactly why you two should be together. Because no one wants a crappy, lame, easy story, no honey, they live for the drama. And hear me out, you and Potter? The obstacles you two would had to face until you finally admit what everyone else already found out except you two dumbasses, your feelings for one another? That would be a hell of a story and I'm all for it."
Draco laughed as he thought of her words. This needed to work. She would be in heaven when she found out he did get Potter after all. This had to work, it simply had to.
The girl kept screaming and screaming until she finally stopped. She was exhausted and fell into a deep sleep. None of them knew if it had actually worked, but they made Blaise took a sip as well and the house was no longer filled with silence anymore.
They took the two of them to Malfoy Mano rand waited until the two woke up. Harry, Ron, Ginny and Hermione waited in the living room, while Draco sat on a chair, waiting for his best friends to wake up.
"Draco...?"- the blonde heard a sleepy voice and finally understood it was from Pansy-"Where am I?"
"Malfoy Manor. Pansy do you.. do you feel any attraction towards me?"
"Draco Malfoy! That is not something you ask to a girl just like that! And I would NEVER steal Potter's place, please relax!"- she smirked.
"It worked. It actually worked! You're back!"- he hugged the girl so tight she felt almost suffocating.
"Woah slow down! What worked? And since when do you give hugs? You despise any form of human contact!"
"Pansy, don't you remember Voldemort cursing you? It has been 7 years since..."
"You took 7 years to get me out of this one? You're losing your skills"- she smirked again.
"On the Bright side, I did. And.... I have good news. About Potter?"
The girl faced him now with interest.
"Shoot it"
"I got him"
"No way"- she opened her mouth.
"No, I actually did, he's in the living room right now."
"NO WAYYYYY"- She yelled now-"Now that makes waking up from a curse I lived in for 7 years so much more worth it! Tell me everything, details included."
And so Draco did. He told her how he crashed his wedding and stopped the gryffindor from marrying Ginny Weasley and how they got together. In the middle of this, they heard a voice:
"You're dating Potter?"- a sleepy Blaise asked, no idea where he was.
"HE IS! ISN'T THAT EXCITING?"- Pansy yelled.
"Surprising, for sure. But I'm happy for you."- the boy smiled.
"Draco... did it work?"- Harry walked inside of the room and the blonde nodded at him.
"You weren't lying you actually got him!"- Pansy yelled again.
"Why would I lie? Pansy you're so dramatic."
"I guess she gets it from you."- Harry winked at the blonde and left the room.
"That insufferable git.. Damn, I love him."- Draco stopped at his own words. Did he just say he loved Harry Potter?
But that was impossible. He knew he liked Harry, but loved? Did he actually know what love was? He was taught it was useless, but it made him feel happier, alive.
"Don't start overwhelming, Draco, you love him, so what?"- the girl touched his arm-"Potter is all fluffy and stuff, if you tell him how you feel, he will probably say it back."
"That's not what I'm worried about. Even a plant told us what he had was true love. But I'm scared..."- Draco looked away-"It's stupid."
"You're scared of what... Love?"
"Seems like a big deal, you know? Why can't I just be with him and that's it? The word itself sounds so big, so much of a big deal! How do I even show someone that I love them? I know how to show them that I like them but... LOVE?"
"Draco. Love is NOT that complicated. How do you see Potter? Like someone you want to be with only for now, or someone you see yourself with forever?"- Pansy asked and the blonde did consider his answer for a while.
"Forever. I'm sure of that."- he stated.
"So, that's love and it isn't so complicated. You just need to show him he is who you want to be with forever."
