Chapter 8- I trust you

It had passed a week since Draco and Harry last talked, or better, had a decent talk, once Draco was still mad about the reckless decision Harry had taken about telling Granger their problem.

Harry still hadn't told her though, scared of what Draco would do once he figured out. He didn't want him to leave him just yet, when they were about to start something that could actually be good for both.

Harry would never take his eyes off Draco, waiting for a sign from the blonde that he was up for a talk, at least. But it never happened so Harry was starting to lose his patience.

Draco was, even though he didn't want to admit it, considering the option. But it would still be so risky. He didn't want to end up in the same place as his father, he didn't want to be near him anymore. Everything his father ever told him had done nothing to make his life better, only worse. His childhood went downhill and he felt like it was stolen from him. He still had a massive grudge on that subject. So, any plan that put his freedom in danger, should be off the table.

On the other hand, he had Harry Potter on his side and who wouldn't believe it if the Wizarding World's savior said he was innocent? He trusted Hermione, maybe he could try and do that too.

So, for the first time in a week, he walked up to Harry and said:

"I trust you. Let's talk to Granger."

Harry immediately got up and kissed the boy:

"You could have warned me you usually take an eternity to think about your decisions, it would have spared me a lot of worries.."- Harry smiled.

"What in Merlin's name were you worried about?"

"You know, you leaving me and such.."

"Harry."- Draco's voice went soft-"Do you hear yourself right now? Why would I do that?"

"Well you seemed pretty angry and didn't spoke to me for a whole week so.."

"Andy ou deserved it. Now, learn from me. We do NOT take reckless decisions in the heat of the moment, we process and analyse them before even considering to take them."- Draco spoke, while smirking.

"Yea, that's not gonna work for me."

"And you wonder why you were in dangerous situations inumerous times."- Draco rolled his eyes.

The two boys left Malfoy Manor to meet Hermione in a bar near Hogsmeade. They walked in and immediately spotted her, who waved at Harry before pulling him into a hug.

"Harry! I've missed you, how have you been? Hello, Draco"- she smiled.

"How did she end up with Weasley, she's so polite!". Draco whispered in Harry's ear, causing him to slap him.

"We have a problem, Hermione. A big one in fact."

"And what is this problem exactly?"- she spoke.

"Parum Dilligens, have you heard of it?"- Draco spoke this time.

Hermione froze up in her place.

"How?"

"Voldemort."- Harry stated.-"It was him"

"Who was the victim?"

"They're two victims to be honest... Pansy and Blaise."

"And the loved one.. I'm assuming it was you Draco"- she spoke.

"I can't help being irresistible! Do not blame me!"

"We were wondering if you had any idea how to take the curse away..."

"Harry, it's incurable. It's in the name literally!"

"Cmon, Hermione, you know there is a cure somewhere. You're not stupid, there was never a curse or a spell who hadn't got a way of being retired, or resisted to."

"This.. this is different.."

"But you can crack the case, Granger. Everyone knows that if anyone can do it, it's you. Harry trusts you, so I do too. Please do not say a word of this to the Ministry."- Draco's silver eyes met Hermione's and the girl nodded.

"I won't. I'll do my research and I'll owl Harry if I find anything. Oh, I was almost forgetting, Ginny moved on, Ron is still being an ass about this whole mess, but you know me. I don't give up without a good fight"- she winked at Harry.

The brunete left the bar and Draco spoke again:

"I repeat, how is she with Weasley? He can't even count to three without getting mistaken!"

"That's my best friend you're talking about. Shut up, Malfoy."

"Is it weird that I actually get sort of turned on when you say that?"- Draco smirked and then said.-"IT WAS SARCASM." To which Harry answered:

"Who are you trying to fool anyways? You're not the only one who's irresistable."- Harry bit his lip and winked at the blonde.

"Damn you Potter."
