".....I see several drooping eyes across the room." The teacher snorted, "So let's end the class earlier. You're dismissed."
The classes that spanned across the day finally ended at 5 p.m. The sky outside the window had turned darker due to the winter season. The weather also slowly turned colder as chills crept up their shoulders.
Seeing the classroom turning vacant, Qi Cheng followed the other students, packing his bag as he made his way to go home.
"Qi Cheng!" A male student called him from a distance.
Qi Cheng halted his steps, waiting for the young man to come up to him. His head nodding in acknowledgement, waiting for the student to speak his words.
"Someone wanted to see you behind the building." The young man gestured in a direction.
"Now? Who?" Qi cheng frowned, displeased.
He didn't want to be late from his meeting with Su Yun. Qi Cheng already considered Su Yun as his people, so he would take good care of him, and obviously, going home together would also be one of the opportunities. Qi Cheng did not consider Su Yun's identity as the clinic teacher as a hindrance from considering the older man as his friend.
"I don't really know. He claimed to be your friend." The male student shrugged.
Oh? Is it Su Yun?
A smile was about to bloom on Qi Cheng's cold face, until he realised the male student was still present, then he pushed down the blossoming smile on his face.
"Ok. Thanks." Qi Cheng turned his direction towards the backdoor of the building.
As he opened the door, Qi Cheng expected Su Yun's figure to pop out behind the wall. The corner of his lips was tugged into a smile at the expectation, yet what awaited him was a bunch of unruly young men with metal rods in their hands, clanking against the cold pavement.
The door closed behind him with a light click. The 10 men that stood behind a young man immediately dispersed to form a small barricade that surrounded him, their eyes smiling dangerously and their lips formed into sneers, as if mocking and taunting him.
"Who?" Qi Cheng asked, his eyes inquiring the identity of the young man that seemed to lead the pack. The man's face was already bruised into an incoherent structure and his body covered with bandages that wrapped around his limbs, he seemed to get the injuries from the day before.
"Who are you, guys?" Qi Cheng asked again.
"You dare forget me?" The young man stared at him incredulously, anger started to boil inside him. "It's only been a day, and you forgot me already?! The injuries I got on my body are from you!"
Xie Zhang did not only hate Qi Cheng due to the injuries he received, but also the fact that his father had lost his job because of him. Xie Feng had already told his son to avoid anymore troubles for Qi Cheng, but Xie Zhang couldn't believe that his ever-knowing father turned out so weak that he couldn't deal with some bastard from the street.
"Ah.. Xie.. who?" Qi Cheng tried to remember his name, but no such memory emerged in his name. The question was pure and with no malice, yet Xie Zhang received it as a mock for him.
Veins started to bulge on his forehead, swelling so much that his blood rushed to his head. Impatient, Xie Zhang finally roared, "Fuck it! Beat him up! Beat him up until he's half-dead! I don't fucking care how brutal it is, just beat him up!"
The ten men immediately acted upon the order. The tension finally broke as their body moved, some pouncing on him with metal rods raised up high in the sky, ready to spill some blood. Some decided to use their fists to fight, rushing up to him with a loud roar. Others decided to ambush him from behind, their eyes glinting under the light in an evil manner.
When the group of people attacked so suddenly and swiftly, Qi Cheng only had the time to defend himself. His hands were brought up to protect his body, and once he found a chance, he turned his body around and launched a punch to a man's stomach. His tranquil eyes turned devilish as blood scrapped on his knuckles, a bloodlust came over him. Qi Cheng did not stop on just one man, he continued, punching and defending at the same time. His knees brought up to hit a man's face, while his hand grabbed another's head and slammed it down to the ground. A man came up behind him, and Qi Cheng turned his body, he clasped the man's fist and twisted it against his body, a punch to the stomach followed after. Another one grabbed his left arm, and Qi Cheng whirled it to land one solidly on the man's jaw, right below his right eye.
His actions were fast and fatal, his swift motions disappearing into shadows that were hard to discern by the eye, colliding against the vital points of his enemies' bodies.
Not long after, the last man slumped down to the ground with a loud thud. Xie Zhang was in a similarly poor state, huffing and his breath was cut into short heaves. His body was limp from the rigorous fight, so weak and broken beyond repair that he could not put any strength into it. His bandaged injuries opened again, staining the ground with red liquid that formed into a small puddle. His left eye was bruised yet he tried his best to look at the standing man across him. The young man across him was grinning, his eyes filled with so much vitality and life as he looked down on the small mountain of unconscious bodies that littered the ground.
He's fucking crazy...
Xie Zhang was sure that the nickname 'Mad Dog' totally suited him. Qi Cheng was just like a beast, blind for any rationality as he went for the kill. His strike and punches did not allow his foes to recover, only going for the vitals.
And god, is he fucking mad, just look at his fucking smile he has right now as blood spills across the ground.
Although in Xie Zhang's eyes Qi Cheng appeared to be brimming with vitality and ready for a second round of fight, in actuality, he was also tired. After all, no matter how much stamina he had, he could not fight 10 people for a long period of time. His knees that had been holding on for a long time finally gave up on him. Qi Cheng slumped to his knees as the sweat dripped over his face, his hair clumped together with blood. He gasped for air, feeling his body turn as heavy as lead. Qi Cheng himself didn't escape the fight without injuries. His left hand that was rebandanged by Su Yun, reopened again, and new bruises formed across his body. In particular, his ribs were sure to be broken after someone swung the metal rod on his chest during the fight earlier.
While Qi Cheng was drowned in his thoughts, a man who had been pretending to be unconscious, finally stood up behind him. On his hand was a metal rod that had been lying beside him the whole time. His actions were quiet and discreet.
Qi Cheng was exhausted beyond reason, his attention was fully focused on trying to keep himself awake, not realising that the man behind him had raised his metal rod up in the air, ready to strike down onto his head. An evil grin donned on the man's face, his eyes glinting under the sunset, expecting to see some blood.
Xie Zhang that lied on the ground smiled as he saw the scene. Yes! Fuck him hard!
