Hi! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! I can't believe it's 2011 already....I'm sorry I didn't upload! We had guests at the morning, then more at the evening the day before yesterday. Yesterday, my parents got sick but then my dad made us go out and shop 'cuz, and I quote, it's just a cold! In my defense, their voices changed. In the end, I was the only one who wasn't able to buy anything. Not even White Hat! :(( Anyway, congrats to @Danny101 and @chichiss! You guessed right! :) This is longer than usual so I hope it makes up for the late upload. I describe a lot here including how Julie, and Jess became her friends and her family. Both the background and appearance on the family part :) I hope you like it! Please comment, vote, fan! :D

Celene’s POV

I smile at my brothers and ignore Keith. Then I peer at their faces. Why do they look so panicked? “Hey guys, what’s up?” I say as if nothing is wrong which, of course, it isn’t. Next thing I know, the zombie apocalypse is tomorrow and I still don’t have my own rifle.

What’s up?! You’re covered in blood and you say what’s up?!” Keith says rather hysterically. I finally give in and look at his greenish silvery eyes.

“What do you care?” I say coldly. He flinches. “Anyway, this isn’t blood. It’s ketchup. I wanted to eat some but it wouldn’t come out so I got the knife and tried to open it up but it kinda squirted on me. Then I accidentally hit the plates someone carelessly put on the top of the sink.”

“Oops. Sorry.” Ryan says, looking sheepish. I look at him pointedly, sigh and put the knife down. I kneel down and start picking up the broken glass.

“Here, let me help.” I hear footsteps then Keith kneels beside me, holding his arms out. I shake my head and bat his hands away.

“It’s fine. Anyway, don’t you have Rosalind to attend to?” I spit her name out. Keith flinches again and opens his mouth to say something but I cut him off with a glare. I continue picking up the glass. “Ouch! Damn it!” I mutter, looking at the index finger of my left hand. Since my whole hand is covered in red, there is no way to know if it’s only ketchup or if there is blood. Unless… I stick the finger in my mouth and grimace. “Ugh, it’s blood.” I take it out of my mouth and inspect it. There is a laceration as big as my fingernail and it is oozing blood. Gross.

“You do know you aren’t supposed to put it in your mouth when you cut yourself on glass.” I glare at Andrew. Darn you, aspiring doctor…

“I cut myself on the big chunk of glass. Leave me alone.”

Andrew opens his mouth to answer back but is cut off by Ryan. “Seriously, sometimes I feel like I’m the eldest among four year olds.”

“He just said you act like a four year old.” I say matter-of-factly.

“He says you do too.” Andrew raises his chin stubbornly.

“Ha! You just admitted it!” I point at him in victory.

“Keith, I apologize for dumb and dumber.” Ryan says solemnly. Keith stands up, laughing. I stand up too.

“You’re the dumber one! No, you are!” Andrew and I say at the same time.

“Guys, just shut up.” Ryan says. We do but are still glaring at each other.

“Do you guys rehearse that?” All of us turn to him. Keith shrugs and runs a hand through his dirty blonde hair. “What?”

I shake my head and step away when Ryan comes with a broom and a dustpan. After shaking my blue furry slippers to ensure there won’t be glass stuck at the bottom, I run upstairs through my bedroom and into my bathroom to take a bath. I wince at the pain in my finger so I hurry. Once I’m done, I step out of the shower and get the with bandage roll I always keep in my dresser drawer. I wrap it tightly after putting the disinfectant beside it on my finger. Then I look at myself in the mirror and sigh.
