Meanwhile, Ash was going deeper and deeper into the forest. He still felt the pain that was going through his heart, but it was getting worse by the minute as Ash no longer had a caring mother after Delia disowned him. After flying for 2 straight days on Charizard, Ash was also starting to feel very tired as he didn't sleep during those 2 days. As they stopped, Ash began to look back to what caused his mother to disown him when he started to sit down on a log. From being bullied at a young age during Elementary School and dropping out of it due to getting framed of doing stuff he didn't even do, to getting his first Pokemon late, to even losing the Pokemon League over and over again. It was official. Ash's life was miserable. He started to cry even more as his tears of sadness were flying all over the place. "I now understand why Mom disowned me, it's because I'm a miserable Pokemon Trainer," cried Ash as he covered his face with his hands. At this point, more and more pain was going through Ash's heart. He could only hope that someone can repair his broken heart.

Meanwhile, Elesa and Skyla were still going through the forest where Ash is rumored to be in. "I just hope Ash is ok because my Ash Ketchum finder tells me that more and more pain is going through his heart," said Elesa as the two childhood friends were getting closer to Ash. "I hope so too, Elesa, after all, what caused Ash to have so much pain going through his heart?" said Skyla. "I don't Skyla, but we have to get the answer from Ash himself if we want to find out," said Elesa. After 10 more minutes of going through the forest, the two Gym Leaders finally found Ash sitting on a log with his hands covering his face and tears were flying everywhere. "Ash! Over here!" shouted Elesa. Taking his hands off his face, Ash looked forward and saw Elesa and Skyla. "E-Elesa, S-Skyla, I'm sorry...," said Ash before he passed out from the pain he was in and from the sleep he had missed from the past two days. Elesa and Skyla gasped as they ran over to Ash. After checking his heartbeat, they could hear it, but Ash would be out for some time. "Skyla, we need to take Ash back to my house and fast," said Elesa as she picked up Ash's body. Skyla nodded as she called out her Talonflame she won during a Flying Type tournament that took place in Kalos last year. Once they were on Talonflame, they flew back to Nimbasa City.

When they were flying back to Elesa's house, Elesa and Skyla checked on Ash's pulse every two minutes, they still heard his heartbeat, but they were very concerned about their crush's safety. Once they got back to Elesa's house, Elesa and Skyla placed Ash onto the couch and covered him up with blankets. "Poor Ash, when we found him, he looked like he hasn't slept for a couple of days. Do you think that's why he passed out, Elesa?" said Skyla. "I say that is a good reason there, Skyla, he did look very tired when we found him after all," said Elesa as she got a pillow for Ash's head to rest on. "Ash, please wake up soon, me and Skyla/Elesa really need you," thought Elesa and Skyla as they looked at their crush in worry before they went to their bedrooms for the night.

Three days later, Elesa and Skyla looked at Ash's sleeping body. They could only hope that he would wake up very soon. "I hope that Ash wakes up soon, Elesa, after all, we need him," said Skyla. While they were waiting for Ash to wake up, Elesa and Skyla emptied the contents that were inside of Ash's backpack as they decided that Ash was going to live with Elesa and put all of his stuff into his new bedroom. Just then, they heard some moans coming from Ash. Elesa and Skyla smiled as Ash was finally waking up from his three-day sleep. When Ash opened his eyes, he didn't realize where he was until he saw Elesa and Skyla standing in front of him. "Elesa, Skyla," said Ash as he was lost for words right now. "Take it easy, Ash, you have been going through a lot as of recently," said Elesa as she sat down next to Ash with Skyla. "Ash, when we found you in that forest, you looked like you were in some sort of pain, what happened to you?" said Skyla as she saw Ash wincing in pain again. After some confronting by the two Gym Leaders, Ash could slowly feel the pain in his heart going away. "Ash, can you please tell us why you were in so much pain?" said Elesa. Ash cried softly as he said, "When I returned home after my second-place finish in the Kalos League, my mom was very mad at me for losing my 6th Pokemon League in a row. To make things worse, she disowned me and kicked me out of my house." said Ash. Elesa and Skyla were in shock. They knew kids and teens got into arguments with their parents regularly but being disowned and kicked out of your own house was too far. "Ash, we're so sorry for you," said Skyla as she and Elesa began to hug the young man. The two Gym Leaders decided that they will confess their romantic feelings for Ash tonight, and they hoped they could repair his broken heart.
