We've reached the end and I have a lot of things to say but I'll say it all in the afterword. And if you're confused, I followed the Filipino education system (K-12 which consists of kinder-elementary-jhs-shs-college). I'm not really good at explaining but I hope you understood it.

The young Chanyeol pouts as his mother hands out some rice cakes to him. "Give these to the people next door, 'kay? Make sure to welcome them."
He pouts even more. "But I wanna go and play with the hyungs. Can't noona do that instead of me?" His mother glared at him and her arms were folded.
"Then you do the dishes and she'll hand out those." Not wanting to do the dishes, he grabs the box and stomps his way to the house next to them. Irritated, he frowns. His friends are probably now playing their nintendo without him.
Chanyeol forces a smile and pushes the door bell. When the door opened, he was greeted by a woman who's probably the same age as his mother. She smiles warmly at him and accepts the rice cakes.
"Why, thank you. What's your name?"
"It's Park Chanyeol, ma'am."
"Chanyeol, huh? That's a nice name for a handsome boy." She exclaimed, making Chanyeol shy. "You're probably the same age as my son, Baekhyun. He's probably out there, playing. You two would make good friends."
Chanyeol just nodded. To be honest, he actually doesn't care because he just wants to rush to his friends to play. He bowed to Mrs. Byun and bade farewell. As he was walking, he noticed a young boy, playing with the dirt, writing something on it. At first, he wanted to ignore the boy but then he saw his shoulder shaking. Is he crying?
He slowly approached the boy and crouched. The boy probably noticed his presence and turned his head. Chanyeol was dumbfounded. He never saw someone this cute and adorable, despite of his tears and runny nose and there were crumbs all over his face. He felt his heart beat fast.
"A-are you okay?" Chanyeol asked. The boy nodded and wiped his tears.
"Yeah, I just miss my father so much. This place is great and has a lot of chickens to eat but I still miss him."
"Why? Where's your father?"
The boy looked at him. "He's at the city, working. He visits us during weekends though.."
Chanyeol uses the hem of his shirt to wipe the boy's face and he sweetly smiled at him. "Then you have to cheer up! Your dad won't be happy to see you like this."
After Chanyeol said that, a smile crept into the boy's face. "T-thank you for cheering me up." He held out the cookie bag he was holding. "You want some?" Chanyeol nodded so he takes a cookie from the bag and brings it to Chanyeol's lips. He opened his mouth to welcome the sweet treat.
It was the best cookies he tasted. And he would be lying if he said he didn't want more. If he befriends the boy, he would get to eat the cookies often, wouldn't he?
"My name is Chanyeol and I want you to be my friend. What's yours?"
"I'm Baekhyun. Byun Baekhyun."
At first, the cookies were the reason why he wanted to be friends with Baekhyun. But then, after getting to know Bakehyun and spending time with him, he doesn't know why his heart kept palpitating and his mind is constantly filled with Baekhyun's smile. He thought he was sick so he started to avoid Baekhyun but he couldn't. He ended up regretting it so much.
