Error had still been sitting and thinking when he got a small stab of pain from his wrist.  Before he really thought about it, he unwrapped it and realized that he couldn't wrap it back up on his own.  And that it hurts a lot more.  His first response was to try and hold it in place and open a portal to wherever Ink was.  He could help.  He'd done it before.

Ending up in the snow of UnderSwap's snowdin forest, he looked around.  It was only trees.  Trees, snow, and... Ink!  He still clutched his hurt wrist as he stood and Ink moved toward him, concern filling his eyes.  Error showed Ink his wrist, letting Ink partially wrap it up until they got to Blue's, just to make sure it didn't fall apart.

Ink sat Error down at Blue's table while Blue went and got fresh bandages.  Carrot came over and examined it, seeing if he could put it back together properly.  Error was completely still, probably because of his haphephobia.  Sure, they had bandaged his wrist before, but he was asleep while they had done it.  Now, he was awake and kind of forced to both watch and feel them put it together.

Ink got Error's attention, "Hey, it's alright.  You can look at the ceiling or close your eyes if you need to."

Error nodded, probably already knowing this, as Carrot looked up at him.

"If we don't do this now, it'll just hurt more when you get it fixed later.  Let me know when you're ready."

Error set his head on the table and covered it with his non-injured hand, making a sound that sounded like a strangled, "Now."

Carrot started putting Error's wrist back together as Blue came with the bandages.  Error immediately crashed, passing out as soon as he rebooted.

Error woke up on a couch.  Blue's couch to be specific.  His wrist was redone and, looking around, it seemed like the middle of the night.  Ink was asleep at the table with a pencil in hand and a half-done drawing.  It looked like... Error?  Error while he was sleeping on the couch.  Was it because of how peaceful he looked while sleeping?  Was Ink even really aware that he had drawn Error?

It didn't matter.  Ink was asleep.  It was perfect.  Crouching next to Ink to get a better look at the sash, he found and picked out envy.  He opened a portal to ReaperTale and couldn't help but take a glance back at sleeping Ink before he closed it again.  He was silent as he moved to Life's garden.  It was empty, being in the middle of the night, so Error left the vial on a bench with a note under it saying, 'To Life, for the soul.'  With that, he went back to his antivoid to wait.
