chapter fifteen: together again

I yawned and rolled over on the bed instantly running into something warm, I opened my eyes slowly and caught sight of jakob asleep next to me. I blushed but curled up next to him when his arm wrapped around me, “how did you sleep?” He asked. I looked up at him “you were awake?” I asked, he chuckled “yes I was” he said.
    I sighed “pretty good...but I blame it on you because you kept me up all night.” I said, he laughed “what are you gonna do punish me?” He said jokingly. I rolled my eyes and looked at his hair “can we cut your hair today?” I asked, he looked at me. 
      “Sure” he said, I smiled and cuddled into his chest again before starting to cry. “Alex? Why are you crying?” He asked, I clutched onto his shirt “you idiot” I yelled punching his chest. 
     “You left me...again!” I sobbed. His eyes widened and he sat up before pulling me into a hug, I cried and he moved my bangs before kissing my scar. He smiled “I promise I won’t leave you again...except for work” he said, I hiccuped and kissed him before he fell backwards from the impact.
    “Wow, you really did miss me” he said, I laughed and punched his chest again  he chuckled and grabbed my wrist “that hurts...” he whispered in my ear I blushed and just as we went to kiss again my door was slammed open and Katelynn’s eyes widened. 
    “Jakob?” She said running over and practically throwing me off of him, I rubbed my ass and glared at her. She hugged jakob “how long has your ass been here?!” She practically yelled, he laughed “only a couple days” he said.
     I rolled my eyes and stood up looking at jakob before going out to the kitchen to make something for breakfast. 

I sighed as Katelynn pointed her fork at me “c’mon spit it out. How long have you been together “ she said, I looked at jakob who was getting ready to spill and I glared at him, he looked taken aback but went silent.
   Katelynn raised an eyebrow “sense today...” I said, Jakob’s eye twitched and he stood up slamming his fist on the table “sense today?!” He yelled. I flinched and swallowed my guilt, “Jakob...” I said, Katelynn laughed “ah, just like a married couple...speaking of which when are you two getting married?” She said.
   Jakob and i’s eyes twitched in union “EXCUSE ME?!” We yelled, she laughed and leaned back. I blushed and pointed to the door while covering my face “please leave...” I said, she stood up “a’ight, see ya at work then boss” she said as she walked out the door.
i sighed and looked at jakob who had gone stiff and was blushing big time, which wasn’t normal for a guy like him. “You okay?” I asked, he avoided my eyes and nodded “I’m fine just Katelynn has changed a lot...especially in personality...” he said. 
   I laughed nervously and put our dirty dishes into the sink before turning towards him “about what she said...-“ “no.” He cut me off.
   My eyes widened “Huh?” 
“No...I don’t want to commit yet.” He said, I blushed “that’s not what I was talking about!” I said, he looked at me his face going redder.
   “Then what were you talking about?”
”how long have we been together I mean...you were in jail for a year because of jackass but...we never really made it official” I said, he frowned “I’d say two years...but...I don’t want to split up again”
