Satoshi groaned as he tossed and turned on his hotel bed. He could not sleep no matter how hard he tried. Serena was sleeping on the floor below him and her parents were in the room right across from her. Satoshi wasn't fond of the idea of sharing a room with his fiance.

Even if they slept in different beds. He valued his privacy. After an hour of tossing and turning, Satoshi sighed before getting up, getting dressed, and silently leaving his hotel room.

The minute Satoshi stepped outside the hotel he was amazed at the number of people still walking down the sidewalks and the number of cars on the road. "Well, it sure is the city that never sleeps." Satoshi joked before walking away from the hotel. He didn't know what drove him back to the World Fair but here he was, yet again, standing in front of the gate.

People were being escorted as the World Fair event was now closing down. Satoshi checked his watch, 11:30 pm. Yeah, it was closing time alright. Satoshi looked both ways and quickly slipped past two security guys before entering the fair again. Satoshi admired the world globe in the center as he continued his way to a specific exhibition. However, when he got there luck was not in his hands when he saw that exhibition was closed.

Satoshi placed his face on the window and tried looking for... her portrait again. He hated how just a simple portrait... a simple woman from a portrait was causing him to not get enough sleep. "What in heaven's name are you doing?" Satoshi turned around quickly. There standing a few feet away was a young tan man with dark brown hair. "My apologies sir. I just wanted to-"

"Doctor Takeshi is everything alright?" a few security men yelled from across the area. The man, who Satoshi now knew as Takeshi, turned around and yelled "Everythings fine." His eyes flickered back at Satoshi, "My assistant was just being clumsy."

"Alright Doctor Takeshi, goodnight!"

Takeshi just waved a hand, dismissing them before focusing his attention back at Satoshi.

"Why? Why did you lie to them?" Satoshi asked, curious at Takeshi's motive. "Now that's not a proper way to thank me, Sir Satoshi of England," Takeshi smirked, crossing his arms. Satoshi cursed silently before quietly thanking the Doctor. Takeshi's eyes sparkled curiously, "Now mind telling me what you were spying at an art gallery?"

Satoshi flushed deeply before thinking how his answer would sound so absurd. "A painting portrait invaded my mind the second I saw it."

"I thought I left something inside earlier. I also couldn't sleep so I came here." Satoshi replied smoothly. Takeshi raised an eyebrow, intrigued at how a sleepless man would find a closed world fair a good place to go in the night. Takeshi squinted his eyes at him as if he was trying to read him. "You're running away right?"

"Pardon?" Satoshi asked, alarmed.

"Well you're not running away but you're running away from your problems and life."

Satoshi chose to ignore that comment.

Takeshi turned around and began walking away, his long coat making it seem like it was a cape.

"Where are you going?" Satoshi wanted to ask but decided to stay quiet. He could only see the figure walking away from his view before he was completely swallowed by the sudden fog.

The next night, after Satoshi walked around Central park he took a cab to the world fair. He still could not sleep and just being at the World Fair calmed him down. Satoshi was not proud of his habit of sneaking inside the world fair but he could not help it. This time, he found Takeshi standing before the world statue, right down the middle of the world fair.
