'Dammit, now I can't listen to this week's broadcast! I should record it and listen to it later...if I can.'
He patted my shoulder as he left the bathroom. I looked down as I leaned on the counter and stayed like that for a minute before I turned around and looked back up. I wasn't expecting Aizawa to still be standing there, so I jumped a little. "Sorry for startling you. Do your ears still hurt?" he signed.
"Yeah, but a little less now that they aren't bleeding." I said. I then felt my phone vibrate in my hoodie pocket, which I wasn't expecting, so it made me yelp. I then pulled my phone out of my pocket and noticed that I had a text from Midoriya. Once I opened it, I saw that it was the recipe that he was talking about. I read it over before asking as I turned my phone to face Aizawa, "Do we have these ingredients?"
He looked like he was thinking about it before he walked out and to the kitchen to look in the pantry. I followed him as I held my phone in my hand. He turned around then signed, "Yeah, we have those. Why?"
"Midoriya sent a recipe that is supposed to heal any cold. I'm gonna give it a try." I said as I looked back down to my phone, but then back up as I saw that he was going to sign something.
"Alright, good luck with that."
I nodded my head as I began to look for what I needed, which was when he left the pantry to go to the living room. Once I had everything gathered, I brought them to the counter and began to boil the sake to evaporate the alcohol in it. As I waited for it to boil, I began to measure out the rest of the ingredients. As soon as I picked up the egg, I felt someone tap my shoulder. Since I wasn't expecting someone to do that, I accidentally dropped the egg that I had just picked up. I wined to myself as I looked at the broken egg on the ground before looking to the person that tapped my shoulder. I rose an eyebrow as I noticed that it was Shinso. He said something, but I wasn't able to hear him still. When he finished talking and I didn't respond, I think that he repeated himself. As he was in the middle of repeating himself, he turned away towards Aizawa, who was talking to him.
Aizawa then signed, "He's going to be staying over this weekend again. He wants to train some more." I then nodded my head as I turned to gather some paper towels to clean up the raw egg on the ground.
When I stood back up, Shinso held his phone out to me, which I then noticed that something was typed on it. It read, "What happened?"
In a still stuffed up tone I said, "I sneezed and it was so loud that it did something to my ears."
He quickly typed something as I threw away the paper towels and grabbed new ones. He turned his phone back to me before I bent back down, "So you can't hear?"
I bent down as I said, "Nope, not for the time being."
He began to type something again as I cleaned up what little was left. When I stood back up he showed me his phone, "I take it you have a cold?"
I threw away the paper towels and turned back to the now boiling pot as I said, "Yep." I then turned down the boiling sake to low heat and waited for it to cool down before I added the honey-egg mixture.
"Have you eaten yet?" his phone read.
"Nope." I said before I sneezed and floated up, hitting my head on the low ceiling of the kitchen area.
Once I was back on the ground he showed me his phone again, "Are you alright?" I nodded my head. He then typed something as I slowly added the mixture into the pot as I stirred. He put his phone in front of my face, "Since you haven't eaten anything yet, I'll make okayu. It's a porridge that my mother would make when I was sick. I think it'll help you a lot."
