Brandy's POV
"Denim I'm tired. Let's just go home." I said as I walked over to him. He sat behind his desk going through a stack of money.
"You can wait. I'm busy." He tells me. "Either you sit and be quiet or leave."
I rolled my eyes leaving the room. Denim dragged me around all day just to look at some empty venues. He's persistent on still marrying me though I'm not sure that I still want to anymore. He somehow turned back into old Denim in a blink of an eye.
He wanted something big. He told me that he wanted the world to know that he's marrying the girl that every guy dreams about. Meaning he just wants someone to have sex with whenever he wants.
I sat at the bar patiently waiting for Denim, in silence. I fiddled around with an empty glass of water I had. It was better than nothing. Every so often, someone would come barging into Denim's office. It never seemed to be a good thing though. I tried my best to ignore it until I heard shouting coming from outside. I frowned.
Looking around the room, no one else was there. They keep on shouting banging on the door. I got out and gently knocked on Denim's door before I walked in. "Denim I think-"
"Brandy go away. I told you I'm busy." He says walking over to me. He looked angry.
"I'm sorry," I say to him.
Denim walks with me back out to the bar. He grabs a remote from behind the counter and turns on the TV. "Give me an hour Brandy. Please." He tells me. Denim leans in and places our lips together. "Just find something you like."
I grabbed onto his hand before he left. "Denim I think there's-"
A notification pops up on his phone. "I'll be right back." He says.
I sighed just rubbing the side of my head. Running my hand through my hair, I sat on the stool, flipping through the channels till I found something half decent.
Banging and the shouting continued at least for another ten minutes. I groaned and made my way to the front. Walking up the steps, I reached for the lock. "Brandy. Where are you going?" I turned around. Denim frowns walking over to me. "It's late. What are you doing?"
"I head someone banging on the door and shouting. I just wanted to see-"
"Brandy. You have said something to me instead of trying to investigate for yourself." He tells me. Denim unlocks the door to no one. He turns to me and laughs. "Have you been drinking without me?"
"No. I swear there was someone there. Denim-"
"Come on." He says closing and locking the door again. "We can leave soon."
Denim pulls me in closer to him as he wraps his arms around my waist. My hands placed themselves on his chest. "I want to go home Denim."
"In a bit." He tells me. Denim leans in closer to plant his lips on mine. "I just need to take care of a few things."
I nod my head pulling away. Denim holds my hand a little tighter. "How about when we get home, I'll make us something eat. We can sit outside by the pool and a candle light dinner. What do you say?"
I frowned. "At midnight?"
"So? We can stay up late, wake up late. I'm not busy tomorrow. So the day is yours." He tells me. "Now go wait patiently and I'll be ready to leave soon."
Denim walks me back over to the bar and kissed my head before he disappeared back into his office. I sat in discomfort wondering who was pounding on the door. Or maybe he was right and I'm just imagining things.
"Denim! Denim! I Know You're In Here!"
I lifted up my head. Slipping off the stool, I walked towards the door. A female with brown hair walked over to me. "Have you seen Denim?"
I took a step back. "I-I don't think you can be in here. The door was-"
"Locked?" She says crossing his arms. "I know. I'm not an idiot."
I lowered my head a little. "He's kinda busy right now-"
"I don't care!" She exclaims walking past me. She storms over to the closed door, knocking on the door, repeatedly. "Open the door Denim!"
I stayed against the wall frowning. The door opens and she walks in. I bit my lip. As soon as the door closed, I got a strange feeling in my stomach. I found myself walking and standing by the door waiting for something to happen. Maybe even hear the conversation.
The door flies open and Denim storms out. He grabs my arm. "Go wait in the car Baby." He says. "I'll be right behind you."
"Denim I tried to stop her. I really did."
He turns to me. "I don't care Brandy. Just get in the damn car."
Denim's POV
"Who is she Denim?" Brandy asks before I shut the door.
"Shut up Brandy."
"Denim Who Is She?" She asks again getting out of the car. "She knew you. How do you know her?"
"None of your business," I tell her.
Brandy runs her hand through her hair. "Your lying to me. Aren't you?"
I rolled my eyes. "Come on Baby. You are being ridiculous. She's business."
She darts her eyes away at the ground before staring back up at me. "She's the girl-"
I didn't let her finish her sentence. I brought my hand up which collided with the side of her face. I watched her stumble against the car. "Look At What You Made Me Do! You Fucking Happy Now!?
"...I'm sorry." I heard her mumble under her breath. She gets back into the car without looking up at me.
I headed back inside already fuming with more anger than I had before. "Denim!" Emily shouts strutting over to me. "Stop ignoring me. You made a promise to me-"
"I don't care about the promise I made with you. I kept your brother alive, what more do you want from me?" I asked.
She crosses her arms. "I know that and thank you. Means a lot to me...and my family. We appreciate it."
I raised an eyebrow. "What else do you want from me? More money?" I said as I pulled her in closer. "Cause that can be arranged," I whispered kissing her neck gently.
"I'm not going to sleep with you anymore Denim." She says taking a step back.
"Then get out of my face."
Emily stood there in shock. She kept this secretive look in her eyes like she was hiding something. "De-"
"I fucking hate secrets Emily. It irritates me so much that I could blow someone's head off in a second." I tell her grabbing her jaw. Drawing her in closer to face me, a tear trickled down her cheek. "So whatever the hell you are hiding from me, say it or else I'll rip your tongue out of your mouth."
After pushing her back, she stumbles to catch her balance. She barely looks at me. "I'm so sorry Denim. I didn't think he would do something like this." She sobs. Emily walks over to me and gently places her hands on my face. "I promise I'll pay you back-"
"-How much?" I said calmly.
She pauses. "300k."
I smiled shortly. Reaching for my gun, I placed it between her eyes. "I just need to send a message to your brother. I really hope you don't mind."
Emily gasps almost leaping backwards. "Denim No! Please Denim! DON'T DO THIS!" She screams. As soon as the trigger went off, I watched her body fall the ground.
"Blue! Do me a favour make sure her brother knows I'm coming for him next."
