venus' pov

i leant back on the blanket placed at the top of the hill looking up at the stars. my best friend clover had took me to watch the stars because the night before i had found out my boyfriend (now ex) had cheated on me. watching the stars was my favourite thing it was so peaceful and it made me feel relaxed.

"look a shooting star" clover jumped pointing up at the sky as a shooting star shot across the sky. "make a wish"

i closed my eyes making a wish 'i wish i could have a happy relationship and not get hurt'

i had been in quite a few relationships in the past, them all starting off great and ending in a mess. i was slowly giving up on love but i still hoped i would find the love of my life, i knew they were out there somewhere. I got cheated on a lot, it hurts like hell but i always get over it. i taught myself not to think about them and just focus on myself and it really helped.

wishes were pretty pointless and the never come true but it was worth a shot i guess.

"what'd you wish for?" clover as sitting up and turning to face me.

"i can't tell you or it won't come true" i laughed not getting up from my position.

clover was such a great friend, she always knew how to cheer me up and how to make me laugh. she could always tell when i was upset just by my facial expressions. we have been friends since we were very little so we have gotten to know each other very well over the years. she was like a sister to me, pretty sure the rest of my family felt like that as well.

"oh also, jaden's coming back for a few weeks next week. he's bringing his friend josh" clover said.

jaden was clovers boyfriend, he's famous on an app called tiktok so we moved in with his other tiktok friends so clover never sees him often but they always facetime and when he is here clover always seen so happy to be around him. we've never met any of his tiktok friends before so this i'll be our first time meeting josh.
