"Get out."
Grayson got up from the bed after taking taking the woman for a third time. God he needed a shower. What the fuck was it with these women who drenched themselves in expensive perfume? He couldn't wait to wash away any evidence of the woman lying in the bed.
"Fuck you Grayson."
"Sorry sweetheart, been there, done that. I'll call if I want to do that again."
Watching the woman as she stood up from the bed he cringed to himself 'What the fuck was he thinking?' This woman was nothing to write home about. Just a bag of bones with tits. At least she knew how to fuck, that was about the only thing going for her. OK not quite, she really was quite attractive after she washed off all that ridiculous war paint last night.
Again, he had to ask himself.. what the fuck was it with women these days?
"You're an arsehole Grayson."
"Never denied it."
He looked amused as the woman stomped around the room gathering all the clothes that he'd thrown off her. She was like a little rabid gnome.
When she slammed into the bathroom and he heard the shower running he groaned to himself. Fuck. She better not use all the hot water.
An hour later his right hand man was driving her back to town and away from him. He couldn't have been happier as he walked down to the stables to his beloved horses. They were loyal, no one would ever doubt their ability to stand by their owner. They worked in sync with one another.
Sliding his across the neck of his midnight coloured stallion Blaze he dropped his head as he realised why he'd brought that woman into his bed last night.
Josie. The one woman he thought he may have a chance of trusting one day. For years, since highschool, she'd been by his side. He was three years older than her but he didn't care. He wasn't going to touch her until she was old ebough but he couldn't stand the thought that she might go out with someone else. So she became like an extra appendage. Where he went so did she but if she asked him to do something she liked then be always had an excuse of something else they needed to do.
Then one day when she was seventeen she surprised him by saying she had something else to do when he called to arrange meeting up with her. He was furious at the time and had hung up on her.
For weeks he fought the urge to call her again. Determined not to let a woman get the better of him he fought against himself every hour of the day until finally he couldn't stand it anymore. He called. She was happy to hear from him but if she wanted an apology then she'd be sadly mistaken. Grayson Price never apologised to any woman. No woman was worth that. They stayed together until they she was twenty seven. She'd be twenty nine now.
Giving Blaze one last pat he walked over to the feed stall and started work for the day. It was there that he was hit by a memory that haunted him daily.
It was here on a blanket lying together that he'd taken Josie's innocence. It made him feel like he was a king. She waited until she was twenty three to lose her virginity. It was like she was waiting for him and
only him. She'd tasted so sweet and her skin smooth, soft and rounded; exactly how a woman should be.
She was addicting. He couldn't get enough of her body, every chance he got he took to have himself buried deep within her. He'd made her go onto the pill so he could go bareback, the feeling was amazing.
Then came the day he never wanted to remember but would never forget. It was the last time he saw her. He'd been drinking at a party thrown by his then best mate, Josie's brother Charlie. He made a mistake. He was so blind he didn't realise the woman he was kissing wasn't Josie.
That was all it took for her to leave. She saw them together and his drunken state turned quickly sober as he saw who he was holding. He pushed the woman away but it was too late for Josie. She locked herself in her brothers' room and no matter of coaxing had her opening the door to him. He refused to utter the word 'sorry'. He didn't apologise to any woman.
Charlie told him the next day that she was gone and threatened to cause maximum pain if Grayson ever went near her again.

A/N Ok peoples. I'm not sure when I'll be adding to this. The first part is pretty much stand alone but the second part has information that's in His Best Friend's Daughter and Maxon's Revenge so I won't be posting any of that. After this book will be the fourth in the series called Pawned Virtue... hoping you stick round for that :) Mari xxx
