"You guys looked so cute together tonight", my mom says as I'm wiping the counters and Lucas is helping my mom put the food in the fridge.
"Nah, I think Sabrina did that herself", Lucas smiles at me. I blush but hide it with my hair then continue wiping the kitchen counter.
"I'm gonna miss you guys", my mom frowns.
"Yeah, me too", Lucas sadly smiles and hugs my mom tightly. It makes my heart warm to see the kind of relationship my boyfriend and mom have. My mom treats him as if he is family. Hopefully one day he will be.
"Love you guys. Go head home", my mom kisses my forehead and hugs me "have fun", my mom says as we're walking out the door "not too much fun!"
Lucas and I laugh and get into the car then drive to a nice hotel to stay at. It was 1 AM and neither of us felt like driving two hours to our apartment and Lucas definitely wants to do something tonight...
We got our keycard to the room and I was so amazed at how beautiful the hotel looked, the best part was that there was a balcony with a view of the beach.
