Ugh today sucks. I feel so sad and empty
Those thoughts race my mind as I go through the school day.

The bell rings as I make my way to the volleyball club to see my boyfriend Tanaka. I sit in an area where I can watch them and do my homework at the same time.
"Hey y/n! Whats up!" Noya says as he squats down to talk to me as I sit on the floor.
"Nothing much, just some Bio work thats a drag" I say without wanting to give a reason why I might sound drained.
"Yeah I feel you on that y/n, school work just sucks in general" he tells me as he stretches

"Gahhhh, coach worked us ragged today" Tanaka complains as we walk home.
It's a Friday night and my parents allow me to stay at his place so we're going to go watch a movie at his place. On the way Tanaka tells me all about his practice as if I wasn't there, but he's cute when he talks like that
"Hey babe, are you okay" he asks getting me out of trance
"Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I say as he opens his door for me
"Well I don't know you just don't seem as happy as you use to be" he says as grabs my hand and rubs his thumb on my

"Well there's just been a lot on my mind, I just cut off a guy that was really toxic and he made me feel really bad" I tell him as I see he's getting ready to go find him and knock his teeth out.
"WELL WHO WAS THAT??? ILL SHOW HIM WHOS BOSS FOR MAKING YOU FEEL BAD" he yells as he rolls up his sleeves
"Tanaka baby, don't worry. I cut him off and got him out of my life so he doesn't bother me as much. But thank you" I say as I pull him close to me where my head is on his chest "I can hear your heart beat, it's nice"
We hold each other for a good minute until Tanaka breaks the silence saying "you wanna go watch your favorite tonight?"
"Yes please"
We lay down on the couch together as we cuddle. He feels so warm. He makes me feel so safe and protected and loved
"Tanaka.... I love you" I tell him, we've been dating for a little like a month and this was the first time I told him I loved him
He looks at me, into my eyes and says "I love you too y/n. I will make sure no one hurts your heart ever again" he says as he holds me into a tight embrace. I shifted from the embrace as I look into his eyes again as we slowly lean in to kiss. It felt amazing. It wasn't the first time we kissed but it still fills me with butterflies every time. As we break away and have our foreheads together and share a special moment together. God do I love this man.
