Diagon Alley was really busy that day. Of course it was. Students were getting their supplies. You had your books already. Actually you had everything you needed. You just needed to buy yourself some nice pair of shoes.

"Mum, can I go get myself some shoes?" You asked.

She looked at you and smiled, your five year old brother clinging to her arm.

"Of course dear. Give me your things and go get your shoes."

You handed her your supplies and your brother helped carry some.

The shoe store was just past the bookshop.

You looked behind you because you thought you dropped something, but it was nothing.

Then you crashed into someone.

"I'm sorry!" You looked up at the man.

He wore all black, had a black cane with a silver snake head, and long platinum blonde hair.

He looked at you, unhappy.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." You said.

"Clearly." He said.

Then Draco came.

"Father, I- Oh. It's YOU." He said when he seen you. He grew alittle and his voice got deeper. His hair was still slicked back, though.

"Hello, Draco." You said flatly.

"Father, this is (y/n)." Draco said.

"Ah, yes. Little (y/n). Draco has told me alot about you. So sorry about your father. What a shame. One less man to help the poor. Thank God for you."

You kept a blank face. You could tell he was being sarcastic.

"Where are my manners? Lucius Malfoy." He stuck out his hand and you shook it.

Draco stared at you the whole time. A cold, hard, stare.

Then, a thought occured to you. Draco is the only Slytherin student you've seen all day. You dreaded it but you had to ask him.

"Um, Draco?"

"Have you seen Daniel?"

Lucius looked at Draco.

"He's in the Slytherin Quidditch team." Draco explained to his father.

Lucius looked at you. "No offense, Miss (l/n) but what would that student want to do with the likes of you?" He asked rudely.

You showed your anger on your face, making Malfoy smirk.

"He's my boyfriend!" You said and pushed past them, not seeing Malfoy's smirk vanish at the word boyfriend.

Draco looked up at Lucius. "Father, I want to make it into the Quidditch team this year."

"I want to try it out. But I don't know how to get in."

Lucius smirked. "Don't worry, son. I'll get you in."

You were back.

You were sitting next to Daniel in the Great Hall.

As you looked around, you seen that Harry and Ron weren't at the Gryffindor table.

Daniel noticed that you were looking for someone and he nudged your arm.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"You haven't happened to see Potter or Weasley have you?" You asked.

Daniel looked for them at the table.

"Huh. They're not there. Maybe they decided to skip dinner?"

You shrugged. "Maybe."

Crabbe and Goyle noticed how tense Draco was. He wasn't even eating. He just stared at his plate.

"Hey, what's wrong, Malfoy?" Goyle asked.

"None of your concern." Draco replied.

Then he glanced over at you and Daniel.

Crabbe noticed, looked at you, then back at Draco.

"You jealous, mate?"

Draco narrowed his eyes at Crabbe.

"Of what? Them? There's nothing to be jealous of. She's as ugly as the rear end of a troll!"

Goyle made a face. "She may be the most disliked person in Slytherin..but she's not ugly. She's like, princess material in my opinion."

"Exactly. YOUR opinion. Not mine."

Draco poked at his food.

He felt so done with everything.

The next day, you were in the greenhouse for class.

You caught up with Hermionie before class, and with Harry and Ron during class.

They told you what happened to them the previous night and you had to stop yourself from bursting out laughing.

Harry smiled warmly at you.

Well, that's a smile he's never given you.

Draco sneered.

"Great. Now it looks like Potter fancies her." He said lowly to himself.

Then he corrected his mind. He shouldn't care. He doesn't like you anyway.

You put on your earmuffs along with the rest of the class.

When Madam Pomfrey pulled out the Mandrake, you nearly fainted.

Well, Neville fainted.

Then you prepared for the worst as you and the whole class pulled out the Mandrake roots in front of you.

You put yours in the new pot immediately and started to put in dirt.

You looked over to Draco, who was playing with the Mandrake root.

You giggled when the Mandrake bit Draco.

Good Mandrake.
