They laid down in Richie's front yard and resumed their cloud watching. Eddie snuggled closer to Richie, leaving no room between their bodies. Richie leaned over and kissed Eddie's head. About 30 minutes later Eddie fell asleep, wrapped up in Richie's warm embrace. Richie rubbed Eddie's back for a little before he fell asleep as well. A bug flew around Richie and landed on his face, causing him to wake up. Richie carefully picked up Eddie, trying not to wake his baby up.
    He carried Eddie to their room and placed him on the bed before sitting beside him. As soon as he was out of Richie's warm embrace, Eddie woke up. Richie wrapped his arms around Eddie again and scrolled through Instagram. He saw Eddie's birthday post. The picture was a smashed birthday cake. The caption read: happy birthday to me, not! I'm about to lost my best friend. The post brought tears to Richie's eyes, a few rolled down his cheeks. He had no idea had worried Eddie had been. Richie couldn't believed that Eddie actually felt like Richie would hate him.
