Chapter 21: Therapy

They finally realise that me and Y/n can both see and hear them, so Minho Hyung shoves Chris out the way and pretty much sprints over to the laughing girl next to me.

Chris has the audacity to look sorry as he follows Minho Hyung out of their 'hiding' place.
I catch Chris's attention and try to get him to leave, or just stop

But as soon as he's understood what I'm trying to aggressively sign to him, I find my self on the floor and Minho Hyung has taken my space with some big ass box resting on his knees. I'm guessing that's his cats.

Y/N'S POV

Minho shoves the small Aussie out of his seat and plonks down next to me, the sofa rising then falling at the action.

With a flourish, he opens the cardboard box to reveal 2 cats - one is asleep and the other one sits up as soon as it's opened.

- I must say, the box is the most expensive looking box I've ever seen. It's quite big and is covered with a blanket, with a tiny cushion in one corner and one of those water bottles that's usually used for a smaller pet so it doesn't spill.

He takes out the one that's awake,

"Are you ok with animals??"

I nod my head
"Well good because this is your therapy animal" and with that, Minho carefully places her on my lap, when she proceeds so stretch and start licking my knee.

I chuckle as I stroke her soft fur.
"Hello Soonie" I whisper in her ear, using my animal voice
(A/N: Does everyone have a different voice when talking to animals??? Cause I do)

I look up and see Minho looking at me, but I can't tell if he's surprised or creeped out. I know what he's gonna ask before he even makes a sound.

"I know this is Soonie cause you post her on your Instagram every now and then.. and also she has a white patch on her nose."

This boy. He looks like I just told him unicorns are real and then brought one out to greet him.

Next he does something that I would nOT expected him to do.
He hugged me.

FELIX'S POV

He literally look like he's the happiest man alive, like yeah, she knows your cat's name but still, I'm the one who accidentally texted her first, so shouldn't he have at least thanked me by now for finding him his sOuLmAtE.
I huff and Chan looks at me as if there's steam puffing out my nose and ears.

Suddenly, for no reason at all (it was completely unnecessary) Hyung hugs her.
He hugs Y/n.

Why? Does he need to do that? What if she didn't want him to hug her?
That thought is expelled as soon as Y/n reciprocates the gesture with just as much enthusiasm.

I can feel my ears getting warm as I try not to look at her arms around his shoulders. I clear my throat loudly but it doesn't do anything.

Then Minho Hyung whispers something in her ear and she starts to chuckle. It can't have been that funny or he would have shared it.

I narrow my eyes at them and clear my throat again, but this time they break apart.

"Felix are you ok? Do you need some water?"

This man has the audacity to feign innocence,
right in front of my salad?

I look over at Bang Chan next to me.

Ok maybe more side dish than salad.
(I hate myself so much rn 💀💀I'm so so sorry BangChan😭)

Y/N'S POV

Minho pulls me into a hug, but before I can process what he's done, he whispers quietly so that only us two can hear;
"Shhhh wait hug me back and wait, I want to show you something."

Curious, I un-tense my muscles and return Minho's hug, Linking my hands in between his shoulder blades.

I hear Felix clear his throat, but Minho subtly shakes his head and whispers in my ear again.

"Look how red his ears are"

I subtly look at Felix out the corner of my eye and start to laugh, the tips of his ears are bright red. I wouldn't be surprised if steam started escaping from his nose and ears.

I turn back into the hug and me and Minho start to laugh together. Felix clears his throat again. Loud.

"Why is he like that? What did you do?" I ask Minho quietly.

He winks and breaks away from the hug.
Although I can't lie I wanted to hug him longer.

Minho has a grin on his face as he turns around to face the two Australians. I watch as his face literally transitions from devil to angel.

"Felix are you ok? Do you need some water?"
