Chapter 5 - Time to Talk

Start from the beginning

You quickly jumped of the balcony and let yourself fall a few stories before activating your fire wings, since it was dark outside your quirk was easily spotted and you didn't want whoever entered your apartment to see you.
As you looked up you saw Hawks flying above you with your bag in his hands. He started flying back towards the hide out and you followed after him.

Hawks seemed to fly faster now than before, it was hard for you to keep up with him.
You were starting to get tired already, you may have been sleeping a lot for the past few days but you hadn't been eating much. You were running out of energy by this point, and using your quirk this much after a few days was exhausting.

By the time you two got to the roof top of the hide out you were so tired you felt like passing out. Hawks saw it as he turned to look at you for the first time since the two of you left your apartment in a hurry.

"Fuck, was I going too fast?" He asked worryingly with a soft laugh.

"No.. Maybe..? I'm just out of energy" you replied, Hawks gave you a smile before he started walking towards the entrance.

"I'll show you where you sleep then! I need to leave soon anyways.." Hawks said as you followed after him, he still had your bag but you didn't feel like taking it back just yet.

Inside the apartment Hawks showed you your bedroom, it was down a hallway from the living room, you could have found it yourself but it was nice of him to show it to you.

The bedroom had a huge and comfortable looking bed, there was also a closet where you could store your clothes, but you would do the unpacking tomorrow.
The bedroom had it's own bathroom which was amazing, you could take a quick shower before going to sleep.

"I'll go back to my own apartment after I'm done with hero work today, but I'll come check on you tomorrow morning.. or day! I'll bring some food!" Hawks explained, he seemed a bit tired too. At least you had the apartment for yourself for now, but having Hawks around wasn't that bad.

"Okay.. I'll see you tomorrow then.." you said with a tired smile as Hawks put down your bag next to a writing desk in your new room before walking back towards the living room.

"Good night! Oh! And here is a phone if you need to contact me! Nobody can track it but don't go posting your location anywhere", Hawks instructed as he handed you a smartphone with only one number on it, you nodded.

"Good night.." you said and watched Hawks walk down the hallway and disappearing behind the corner, soon you heard the front door open and close.
You were now truly alone, which should have been fine since you lived alone anyways, but you just felt empty and lonely now.

You looked through your bag for some clothes to sleep in before heading to the bathroom. It was huge and had a bathtub that had hot tub functions, also a shower and other basic bathroom stuff.
You decided to just take a shower for now, you could relax in the bath tomorrow.

You took off your 'hero' costume you had been wearing for days now. It would be a while before you would be able to use it again, but you honestly didn't want to put it on any time soon after wearing it for so long.

After the shower you dried yourself before putting on the sleeping outfit and heading to bed. You took your new phone with you and placed it on one of the night stands next to the bed.

You laid down under the soft blanket and positioned yourself comfortably. Even if you felt tired, it still took you a while before you finally fell asleep.

While you were sleeping Hawks flew back to the place the League was keeping you in. Dabi had been trying to contact Hawks all night, but Hawks had been busy with you.
