Walking through the long hallways of the school at such an hour was proving to have been one of your worst ideas. Not only did you have a quiz you needed to get ready for tomorrow but if you were going to get butchered, you doubt anyone would hear your shrieks of distress.

You wondered if you'll ever be able to find Nene with the school as dark as this.

But then again...

You glanced at the familiar boy beside you and your entertained hands.

At least Tsukasa's here. Well, I'm not alone that's for sure.

Clearing your throat to break the deafening silence and also to catch the attention of the boy who seemed to be in a daze.

" So hmmm... Tsukasa, are you sure it's okay for you to stay here with me? I mean, it's pretty late and I don't want you to come home when it so dark. Besides your parent might be worried about why you came home at this time."

Amber eyes met yours, Tsukasa laughing at your worry.

Why is he laughing all of a sudden?

If only you knew he had no home to go to but stay in the damning halls of this academy like he always had for the past years.

" Ah, don't worry (Your Name)! I'm sure my parents won't mind, they don't care if I come home or not at this point. "

How could your parents not care?!

His grip on your hand tightened as if he was trying to comfort you. With a small sigh, you smiled at him and let go of his hand to check inside your classroom.

" Nene? Are you here? "

Tsukasa waited outside, smiling to himself at the sound of your voice. To him your voice was like a sweet melody that was pleasant to the ears, could any song be sweeter than your voice? You were so worried about your friend that he found it adorable like the rest of you, to be honest.

Unbeknownst to you - he knew where Nene was and wasn't planning on telling you any time soon. After a few moments, you sighed as you walked out of the room with more concern enveloping your being than before.

Where in the world is that girl? And it's already dark out too...

As much as you wanted to search the school more, it was really getting late and you were afraid of what your parents would say if you returned home at such a time, as well as Tsukasa.

"I'm still really sorry that you have to stay here with me, just one more room and we're off! I promise you, so please be patient because I'm really worried about Nene."

"Awww, but I like spending time with you like this though! We'll spend more time together tomorrow, ok? Promise me kay~?"
