Requested by @Skillo_Nerd thank you so much for waiting nearly a year for this story. I am very behind on requests ehehe oops, BUT I'm still doing them, don't worry. My writing process is just supa long cause these stories are monstrous sizes. However, if you would like to request, please private message me because sometimes I am not able to see them in the comments! (I will also not take offence if you check up to see if I'm still writing the ones you have requested several months ago) Okay sorry for the interruption, here's a family AU that is a continuation of chapter 49 (the farm DaiSuga with the mean mom) :)

Tadashi's eyes heavily laid half open as he leaned his head against the window of his father's truck. The vehicle was over thirty years, older than his dad, so it was dented, dirty, and weathered. The truck vibrated from running, and Tada's head bumped the window with every pothole in the old country highway they were traveling on. Tadashi's small arm rested against the hard handle that, when twisted, rolled the window down. The window was slightly yellowed over time due to the heavy dust and dirt covering it. The metal door was cold against his neck, so he pulled his collar up. Dead fields filled his view through the window. In the beginning of winter, most crops were shriveling up. The sky was still a pristine clear blue even though it was briskly cold out. The heater was blowing strongly at him, moving the tips of his hair lightly. Tadashi pulled his coat closer and could smell his home. He unconsciously snuggled deeper. His eyes closed all the way. He felt warm. He could hear his dad humming quietly to the soft song playing on the radio. Tadashi always loved hearing his deep voice. It was calming. Tada let his head fall back farther as he drifted into the warmth.

-

"Tadashi."

-

"Tadashi, wake up Buddy."

The little boy opened his eyes weakly and felt the absence of his seatbelt. He felt cold. The door was open and his father was holding his shoulders gently. Tadashi rubbed his eyes.

"Did you get a good nap in?" The older man chuckled.

Tadashi smiled and nodded.

"Good." His dad kissed his head. "Ready to go inside now? Papa needs those groceries for dinner tonight and I need a new screwdriver to fix the door on the barn, so we better get this shopping done."

Tadashi nodded again and leaned forward.

His dad smiled and gently held under the boy's armpits, pulling him out of the truck. Tadashi sleepily tugged on the zipper of his coat once he was on the pavement. His dad crouched in front of him and pulled the coat a little tighter. Then he zipped it up easily. "How do you feel now?"

Tadashi grinned sheepishly, "good."

His dad chuckled and kissed his soft cheek. "Let's go in then, shall we?"

Tadashi quickly kissed his father's scratchy cheek and grabbed his hand.

The older man stood and held his hand back lovingly, then began leading them into the small store. "Thanks for coming with me today Bud, I know it's early. I thought I was going to have to come alone."

Tada giggled and gripped his dad's hand tighter. "I like going to the store with you."

"Because I always get you a treat?" The man chuckled.

"No!" Tadashi blushed, "I like spending time with you!"

The father laughed, "I was messing with you, son." He opened the glass door that took them into the store and let Tadashi go first.

"Tadashi-kun! Daichi-kun! Welcome boys!" A sweet old woman waved to them from register.

Daichi walked over. "Good morning! How are you?" His son held onto his leg and hid slightly.
