5. Punishment

I've cried twice today and it's only morning. I miss Bella so much. I always feel like I'm sick but I'm always hungry. Even though eating just makes me feel more sick. I hear the many locks on the door unlock and I internally groan. I already feel super weak I can't handle this today. I'm surprised when the both of them walk in. Milo sits down at the table and Cedric stays standing up leaning against the door. Milo was pissed. I knew I was in trouble for something I had no idea about. "What's wrong?" I'm the first to speak. "Your husband tried to embarrass me." What does that have to do with me? "How?" "He wanted to make it known that the you fucked him." He says and I feel my face heat up. Jaxson can't seriously be going around telling people that we had sex. I try my best to play it off. "It was in our contract. We had to have Bella. It was just one time." I lie and Cedrics head snaps up. He smirks at me. "One time?" I nod. Milo stands and walks up to me. How close he is makes me nervous. He starts randomly laughing. They're both crazy. Suddenly he slaps me, not hard enough for me to fall but hard enough for me to step back. It stings more than it hurts. He puts his hand around my neck and my eyes widen. "You lying bitch!" He says choking me. "I- I'm" I try to say but he only squeezes my neck harder. "We followed you guys from the beach and watched what started in the pool and ended in the bedroom." He was enjoying watching me struggle. I felt like was going to pass out if he didn't let go. I try my best to pull his hand away but it only encourages him to push harder. "MILO!" Cedric yells and he ignores him. Milos eyes lit up watching me loose oxygen. Cedric finally pushes him away from me and I fall to the floor gasping for air. "What the hell?" Milo says to Cedric. "You were going to kill her. Do you want a body on your hands?" He asks getting me a glass of water. That was the last thing I need. I need my lungs to catch up. "She's fine" he says looking at me. I'm far from fine. I felt like passing out. I lay back on the cold hard wood floor and continue gasping for air.

Once I catch my breathe and stand up and they start telling me how I'm going to be punished. "Why are you punishing me for something you already knew about?" I ask sitting on the bed.
"Because you lied" Cedric says before his phone starts ringing and he steps outside. "I'm sorry I lied" I say hoping to decrease whatever cruel punishment they were thinking of. "I could give two shits that you lied." He says folding his arms. "Then why are you doing this?" I ask him. "Jaxson Ross" "What about Jaxson?" "He thinks he won. He wouldn't be smirking if he knew the things I've been doing to you."  God I hate him. "You wouldn't be smirking if he knew either" I mumble. "What's that suppose to mean?" He asks pulling me up by my hair. I keep quiet. "I'm so tired of you always running your mouth." He grabs my arm and twists it. "Milo" I say squeezing my eyes close in pain. Cedric walks in "You can't be serious" Cedric says pulling me away from him. He pushes me down on the bed. I don't know why he was suddenly protecting me. "What are you doing? She needs to learn to listen" Milo says. "Do you see her? She looks like she's already on her death bed. I'm not going to jail." He was annoyed with Cedric but I was thankful. "Why'd you even come?" "To make sure you didn't kill her." I was happy to see them arguing like this. They weren't going to work well together if they kept this up and I would be free soon. "Did you bring pictures of Bella?" I interrupt their arguments. Cedric digs into his bag and pulls out a yellow folder. I look through the new pictures of her smiling and playing with Jaxson. I smile looking at the two getting along together. I knew she was safe with him. When I get the last picture my heart drops. "This is inside my house." I say looking at a picture of Bella in her room alone. Cedric chuckles "I'm happy you know what your house looks like." "When was this?" "Last night while that husband of yours was out, you know Penelope is a great babysitter she just doesn't know how to lock doors" he says. My baby was in danger and Jaxson doesn't even know. "We made a deal, I'm here so you don't hurt them." "Calm down, he was just looking around." Milo says. "What does he have against your dad?" Cedric randomly asks. "Who?" "Jaxson, he beat the shit out of your dad at the office a few days ago." He can't be serious. "Really?" I ask and he nods. I wanted to smile. Jaxson really fought my dad and he can't do anything to me about it. I really love Jaxson. "So what does he got against him?" Cedric asks his question again. I shrug "Maybe it's something to do with his company." I lie once again.
