You were a nervous mess when you saw the L-Corp logo. Kara had wanted to stop for lunch but you refused. Saying that lunch could wait a little longer. It's been so long since you had last seen Lena and you couldn't wait any longer.

The two of you were searched and checked in at the entrance. Had it not been for Kara calling in a few favors, neither of you would have been allowed in. Lena didn't know either of your names and you had wanted to surprise her.

"What if she forgot about me? This was stupid. We should go. If she really wanted to see me then she would've also searched for me."

Kara wraps her arm around your wrist and tugs you back.

"No. Lena wanted to protect you. She would always ask Alex about how you were doing and made sure that you had everything you needed. Who do you think made you that suit?"

You're both interrupted by Jess calling the two of you to her office.

"Ms. Luthor will see you now."

You thank her and follow Kara to Lena's office. Your heart was racing a mile a minute that Kara had to stop you and make you take deep breaths to calm you down.

"Lena missed you too."

You give her a smile and walk in. It's not until you hear the door close behind you that you realize that Kara hadn't come in with you.

"Ms. Danvers, it's lovely to finally meet you. I've heard a lot from Agent Danvers."

Lena had been looking at some paperwork, not realizing that Kara wasn't in the room. She finally looks up to see you standing in front of her.

"(fake name), what are you doing here? Is everything alright? Where's Agent Danvers?"

You smile as you see her worry. She hadn't changed after all those months.

"I wanted to see you and I was sick of Alex telling me to wait until it was safe."

Lena smiles and makes her way over to you, wrapping her arms around your neck to lean in and kiss you deeply.

"I miss you too but I wanted to keep you safe. I didn't want anyone to know about you. My life is constantly in danger and I didn't want you drag you into it."

"But I want to be dragged into it. I have all these powers and what good are they if I can't use them to protect the one I love."

Lena gives you a warm smile.

"You deserve to live however you want. Whether it's as a hero or a reporter or a teacher or anything else you can think of. But I'm not going to force you into being a hero because my life is always in danger."

"And I don't care. I want to make sure you're safe Lena. You've done so much for me and every other alien. This is the least I can do."

Lena was about to answer but the door suddenly opens and in walks in Alex with a guilty-looking Kara.

"I take off my eyes off the two of you and you both use it as an opportunity to drive across the country to see Lena." Alex turns to Kara. "And you. You should know better. I told you that it wasn't safe for her to see Lena and yet you brought her here." She turns to face you. "Stop encouraging Kara to break all these rules that I set up to keep the two of you safe."

The three of you had gotten quite close during that year that she had kept you hidden from the world. Both of you considered each other as a sister that you had even taken the Danvers name as your alias.

"Look Alex, I'm sorry. This was all my fault. I made Kara bring me here. Don't take it out on her. I just wanted to see Lena so badly. Even if it was just for one day."

Alex sighs and takes a seat at the couch.

"You had no idea how scared I was when I realized that the two of you were just gone. Thank god I put a chip on Kara's cape."

"You did what?!"

Alex shrugs and looks over to Lena.

"You can't blame me for putting it on there. She always loses it during fights and I was getting tired of having to leave behind two or three agents to search for it."

Lena just laughs and leads you to take a seat on the chair in front of the couch. Rather than sitting besides you, she sits at your lap where you wrap your arms around her, placing your head on your shoulder as the four of you talked about what was now going to happen.

"So I'm just going out on a limb that you're not going to want to come back to Metropolis."

"You're correct. I refuse to leave Lena alone again. Especially since her life keeps getting threatened. I want to keep her safe."

"and I told you that Alex has it handled. Don't worry about me. You should go out a do the things that you've been wanting to do. I can wait."

Kara 'awws' at the two of you. She was sucker for cute moments.

"I've been away from you for too long. I'm not going anywhere, Lena."

Lena just smiles as she sees the determined look in your eyes. The two of you were very similar when it came to putting your mind to things.

"What if I come to National City too? That way, (y/n), won't be alone."

Alex didn't like the idea of being away from the two of you but it looked like neither of you were going to change your mind.

"Kara, you don't have to do that. You have your whole life in Metropolis."

"But I want to. We've been apart for so long that I refuse to live across the country from you. Even if it just takes us a couple of minutes to fly to each other. Besides, I've always wanted to work at Catco. This is the perfect opportunity. What do you think Alex?"

"Well, it's not a bad idea. You're trained and we have a base here so neither of you are going to be alone. I don't see why not. What do you think Lena?"

Lena was lost in her own world until you shook her to get her attention.

"Your real name is (y/n)? I've been calling you (fake name) all this time and you never said anything?"

You gave her a sheepish smile, hoping she'll be a little less upset with you.

"It's close to my real name and it grew on me. I considered it a nickname."

She narrows her eyes at you for a second but then smiles.

"You're too cute to stay mad at you. But we are definitely talking more about this name thing."

"Not much to tell. (y/n) Zor-El was my kryptonian name and now I'm considering (y/n) Danvers here on Earth."

"Well aren't you just full of surprises."
