SUMMARY
Paige, for the most part, grew up happy. She was raised by her aunt Maggie after her parents passed away. And because she was just a baby at the time, Paige wasn't at all terribly heartbroken about it. She just didn't remember. Though, now that she was older it did make her quite sad since she didn't have normal parents. But she absolutely loved her aunt, she was her parent. And sometimes she was too much like a friend. There were times where she knew their friendship was not exactly appropriate, but it was a good relationship. Paige was not a bad kid and Maggie was not an overbearing mother, it worked for both of them.
There were times where Paige did feel bad because she took away her aunt's young adult life. Maggie was left to raise Paige after she had turned twenty-two, fresh out of college. She had very little time to grieve for her sister because she had to instantly turn into an adult. Either become an adult or Paige goes to someone else. And Maggie did not want the last thing she remembered of her sister to disappear. Her feelings and emotions had to be restrained to prove that she was stable enough to take care of an actual baby. Being able to do so, Maggie was given Paige to raise, doing a great job in the process with the help of Melissa McCall and Noah Stilinski.
