What is the most important thing in life? Some people will say that their independence is the most important thing, some will say that their money is most important thing, some will say that their freedom is the most important thing but for me, the only important thing in my life are the expectation and dreams of my parents that they have seen for me.
Their happiness and everything that will make them happy is my top priority.

My Ammi (mother) and Abba (father), they have raised me Kinza and Farhan through hardest of times. When I was 5 years old and kinza and Farhan weren't not even born , I vaguely remember how my parents would be worried about how they will provide me with the necessities. They would argue and I even heard my Ammi crying as I would pretend to be asleep. And my Abba, who at that time didn't even had a perfect job, would console her by saying that "everything will be fine, I will do something."

I still remember how they used to buy me Kinza and Farhan new clothes for Eids, but they never would buy new clothes for themselves only because they wanted to provide us with the best.

Despite how much they tried to hide, I being the oldest son of the family remember those sleepless nights when Ammi would just remain awaken all the night waiting for Abba who would do overnight jobs at various factories just to get a little more money.

But than, the conditions started becoming good. When I was 10 , Abba started small business of himself with the help of Shafiq uncle, Aaliyah's dad who was a very good friend of my Abba .

With the passage of time, Abba's business got enlarged, and alhumdulilha now he is one of the top businessmen of the cities.

I can never forget those times of my parent's hardship.

My Abba wanted me to become a businessman but when I expressed to him my interest in becoming a doctor, he happily accepted it and encouraged me to perceive my dream.

And thus, my dream had became their dream and I can't wait to see how happy they will be when I will finally become a doctor.

I entered into the office room of abba that has been made on the second floor of our home. I knocked on the glass door and saw Abba gesturing me to come inside.

I entered inside and said salam to which he replied,

"Walaikum salam Mahir, take a seat."

I sat on the chair opposite to Abba while he said,

"And beta, have your exams finished?"

"Yes Abba." I replied

"Good, how did your exams went? I am sure my son will get the 1st rank as always" he said with the smile on his face , his black eyes shining and the wrinkles around his eyes merely visible.
