Kidd's pov

I don't know why but I pushed him away with a bit of anger. He looked a little dumbfounded. While I stood there with my hand on my mouth and my eyes were wide. 'He looked blank. Like a white board. Or a chalk board. But he had white hair and- never mind.' But then he looked confused.
"Soul. Never do that again." I scolded him sternly and I couldn't bring myself to face him.
"I-I'm sorry. I just had an urge and i don't know, it took over?" He put his arms in the air as if he was confused or disappointed in me.
"You are with Maka. You can't go around kissing people. And that 'urge' was probably your black blood acting up. Now go sleep on the couch." I pointed to the door and saw him walk towards it.
'Why would he do that?! It felt nice... but if that doesn't fuck with feelings than I don't know what does.'
I lied down on my bed lost in thought. But I fell asleep soon enough.

Soul's pov

'I kissed him but why? I have a girlfriend that I love very much. So why? It wasn't just a pity kiss. I don't know. Was it really my black blood taking over or whatever? And why was he so mad?'
I walked down the stair to go 'sleep on the couch' and as I was doing this I grabbed a random blanket I found. As soon as I sat down I passed out.

Kidd's pov

"WAKE UP! IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!" yelling at soul I threw a pillow on him.
Which actually woke him up.
"Damn I'm up." He looked annoyed and exhausted.
Serves him right. I hope he regrets what he did. I doubt he'll tell poor Maka.

-third person pov

As both Kidd and Soul walked to school, their friends joined them.
"YAH HOOO! THE AMAZING BLACK STAR HAS ARRIVED!" The blue haired monkey of a man shouted while doing gymnastics.
"Will you shut up?" Liz groaned while plugging her ears.
"do you really expect him to be quiet? I mean really?" Maka chuckled sarcastically.
"GOOD MORNING DWMA STUDENTS! WELCOME TO ANOTHER DAY! GET TO CLASS! HAVE A GREAT DAY!" Lord Death chirped through the intercom.
"I'm going to commit toaster bath." Kidd stated with embarrassment due to his father.
The group just laughed in response until someone spoke up.
"Did everyone study for the Science test?" Tsubaki chimed.
"Yup! I sure did!" Maka proudly stated.
"Wait. We had a science test? If so, guess I'll fail it." Soul chuckled at himself. But that earned him a glare from his girlfriend.
"YOU DIDN'T STUDY?" Maka poked his cheek.
"Nope." Soul smirked.
"Idiot." Lizzie added.
"I studied." Kidd stated with little to no emotion.
"Kidd? You alright? You sound a little more empty than usual. I can make you a giraffe to make you feel better!!" Patty smiled while talking to Kidd.
"I'm fine." The symmetry boy stated.
"Uh huh. Sure..." Soul rolled his eyes before speeding ahead of the group while holding Maka'a hand.
"Tch what's up with him?" Liz scoffed.
"Maybe he's on his period." Patty laughed.
"I highly doubt that." Tsubaki chuckled.
"I don't doubt it." Kidd said with a snarky tone.
"What's a period? OH NEVER MIND" BlackStar was dumb. And said dumb things. Like always.

They all headed towards their first class. Science. And that's when it happened. Kidd wasn't there.
"Where's Death the Kidd?" Dr.Stein asked.
"Huh? I don't know." Maka replied.
"I think he went to the bathroom" chimed a student.
"Eh whatever. I don't care. Well anywaysss, ON WITH THE DISSECTING!" Stein creepily smiled.
"We have a test today dumbass!" Lizzie yelled soon regretting what she said. And covered her mouth afterwards.
"Oh right. Well, Soul, can you check the bathroom to see if Kidd is in there?" Stein spoke almost sarcastically.
"why me?" Soul whined.
"Because he's your new partner." Stein answered blankly while sitting in his rolling chair.

-Soul's pov

'That's a stupid reason.' But I walked to the bathroom anyways knowing it was my only choice. And to my surprise I didn't see Kidd anywhere.
"Kidd? Are you in here?"
"Huh? Yeah? Why?" He answered me worriedly.
"We have a test. You can't skip class either."
"Tch you're one to talk." Kidd sarcastically answered while coming out of the stall and walking away. We both entered the classroom again and sat down.
"Ok you guys can begin the test." Dr.Stein stated.
I looked over at Kidd and noticed his sleeves were tinted a light red. I thought nothing of it. I mean it's normal for someone to wear different clothing.

-timeskip lunch 3rd person pov

The group of friends were sitting together and talking about random things. Until someone made a remark.
"Hey Kidd, I noticed that your sleeves are red. Is it a new shirt?" Maka smiled while talking to Kid.
"Huh? my sleeves are r- oh yeah I decided to wear something different today." He awkwardly smiled and looked down.
"That's weird. You're sleeves were white this morning." Patty grabbed Kidd's wrist causing him to wince in pain. "wh-why did that hurt you?" Patty was confused now. But then she rolled up his sleeves, yet quickly pulled them down, once she saw new cuts lacing his wrist.
"Kidd? What the Hell?" Patty whispered to him. But he just shot up and left.
"Is he ok?" Tsubaki asked worriedly
"No, he's not." She sighed but continued, "He cut- he cut his wrists." Patty looked down sadly.
"What the-" Black Star looked not only shocked but sad.
"He's always been depressed but I wonder what pushed him this time." Lizzie sighed and threw her food away due to a loss in appetite.
"Soul do you know anything?" Maka asked worriedly.
"No." Soul lied and looked down.
"Maybe we should go tell Lord Death?" Tsubaki suggested.
"He knows." Lizzie and Patty said in sync.
"Well what can we do?" Black Star asked sounding defeated.
"Just, well, actually I don't know." Lizzie sighed and leaned back in her chair.
"I'll go look for him" Soul then stood up and left.
"Good luck!" Patty smiled and gave him a reassuring thumbs up.
Soul walked straight into the bathroom and found him. He was in a corner, with a blade in hand. And Soul snatched it away and threw it in a toilet. But in the process he cut his hand.
"Why, did you come looking for me?" Kidd asked with watering eyes.
"Because I care." Soul stated as he hugged Kidd.

I updated. I'm proud of myself.
