ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോഴും bed - ൽ കിടക്കുകയാണ് എന്ന് മനസിലായപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പതിയെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് താഴേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞു.
"ദൈവമേ... ഈ കിടക്ക എന്താ ഇത്രയും വലുത്? "
ഞാൻ താഴേക്ക് വീണു....
"ആഹ്...." ഞാൻ ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു.പക്ഷെ ഞാൻ വീണിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

ഞാൻ പപ്പയുടെ കൈ പിടിച്ച് പള്ളിയിലെ വലിയ ഹാളിലെ പരവതാനിയിൽ കൂടി ഫാദർ നിൽക്കുന്നിടത്തേക്ക് നടന്നു. മറ്റേ കൈ കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ എന്റെ വലിയ white ഗൗണിൽ പിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

ഹാളിൽ ഇരുവശത്തും ഇരിക്കുന്നവർ എഴുന്നേറ്റുനിന്ന് ഞങ്ങളെ നോക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പരിചയമുള്ള മുഖങ്ങൾ നോക്കി ഒന്ന് പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നടന്നു.
