#6 The Almost Kiss

Demet sighed when she read his card again,

she smelled the roses, took the card out off the bouquet 

and put it in her wallet.

She had to call her brother,

"Volkan, 

I think your sister 

got herself in trouble"

Volkan was a moment silent and then he laughed once,

she didn't need to explain herself further, 

he knew what she was talking about.

Volkan was sniggering, 

"I guess you are not waiting to hear a "I-told-you-so!"

but I have to say it, I told you so!!"

Demet was rolling with her eyes 

however couldn't stop the little chuckle what escaped her mouth.

"Yes, I knowwwwwww you've told me so", 

as much as that she hated that her brother 

knew her so well she loved it also,  

"but what will I do now, Volkan, tell me that, 

since you know obviously all the answers, you wise old man!"

Demet spoke with a low voice since Seçkin was in her house, 

she didn't want him to hear her part of the conversation. 

"Sis, don't call me old, you know I hate that" Demet chuckled again, 

She did know Volkan hated that but she had to say something 

in return of his I-told-you-so.

"Demet, I can't tell you what to do, 

you have to decide yourself 

what you're going to do with your secret crush 

and actually, 

I think you know the answer to your own question already,

I think your heart  knows the answer to your own question"

Demet sighed, Volkan was right, her heart knew it, 

her body felt it however her mind was a curious thing.

"He has a girlfriend and I'm with Seçkin, you know that, right!"

"Yes, I know that but again, I can't tell you what to do"

Seçkin walked into the living room, 

giving her a kiss on the cheek and without asking 

he turned her phone a bit so he could see who she was talking with.

Demet looked surprised at this action of his and was not amused.

He walked away from Demet which she was glad for

so he definitely couldn't hear the next words Volkan spoke.

"You know I love you, my dear sister and I like Seçkin a lot 

however I am not the one who is in a relationship with him,
