Chapter One: Free Fall

"What kind of cure"

"Nuclear fusion"

"Why?"

"You see. The remove the disease you have to remove the host"

"Yeah"

"You don't think I know how it started"

"Please tell me"

"I think you know"

"No I don't. Please elaborate"

"Gladly"

The man stood up and reached into his pocket. Kai quickly grabbed the pistol and aimed it at the man with haste. The man pulled out the paper and placed it on the table. Slid it over and sat down. Kai moved the gun down slowly and grabbed the paper and read it.

A few seconds past and Kai looked at The man. "Impossible" Said Kai with fear and anger. "Oh no nothing is impossible"

Kai stood up. "Thank you Dr. Sarn I'm going to have to ask you to leave"

"Gladly, I will be back" Said Dr. Sarn as he walked out of the room.

Kai sat back down and bowed his head and within minutes Kai grabbed his pc monitor and threw it around the room In rage.

Kai fell to the floor and started crying and yelling.

At the testing facility 8 kilometres under the building two scientists are trying to find a cure in the room. The room is white and has a bench and modern technology. The room has one air tight sealed door and two windows. The windows are of two subjects. The left being the Infected and the right being the patient.

The patient window was emptied and a man was being monitored as he was being put into the patient window by security staff. The man was no older then thirty.

"Please don't!" Yelled the man in fear.

"Please I have a wife and children!"

"Get in the the cell!" Yelled the security guard.

The two scientists watched with anticipation.

"Please!" Yelled the man. He was fully locked in the room and the room was the size of a toilet room. Small and covered with metal armour.

"Please I know you can hear me!" Yelled the patient.

"Try. Vaccine one dash six six nine"

Said the scientist as he pushed the intercom. The patients room door opened and a man walked in with a needle.

"Please don't! I'm not sick!" Crowd the man begging. The man was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.

"Stay still" Said the guard.

The guard injects the man with the serum.

The man takes a deep breath. "Mmm What a rush" Said the man. The man falls to the floor and becomes numb.

The guard leaves.

The scientist press the intercom again. "Now use serum number enigma-17"

The guard walks in with a new syringe.

The guard stabs the man in the leg and administrates it. The guard waits for a few minutes. And shrugs it off the man stands up and has heavy breathing.

The man picked up the guard and throws him at the window.

The scientists both now there heads.

"Case number N403. Fail. Use the last resort"
