Deep in the dark sky are small little lights
That give a brightness to unlit nights
They twinkle as if they are winking
Wish upon them for positive thinking
Thousands of them fill the sky
But for what or better yet, why?
They are but bunches of gas fused together
However not the reason for bad weather
They give a sense of security
Their spark a vison of simple purity
Miniature lanterns for the atmosphere
Keeping outer space out of utter fear
Just like the tip of a magic wand
Space is filled by the stars beyond
