Chapter 11 Two unexpected proposals🤔

After we went out Alex stopped.
Alex"How can it be so irresponsible?! My blood is boiling over my nerves."
He was speaking but I couldn't here nothing. I'm shaking and my eyes are wide from anger.
I tried to not show that I was really hurt by those words. Because I didn't wanted to be accused of acting like a victim. Now that I'm outside I tried to calm myself but I couldn't feel my legs anymore and I'm having difficulty on breathing. Unexpectedly I feel a slaughter in my heart so strong that I can't get my voice out.
I try to keep myself up by putting my hand on the wall but i feel my body heavy and the last thing i remember before everything gets dark is Alex's voice.
Alex"Luna!Careful"
The darkness absorbed me.
Some noises are disturbing me. Who the hell is talking?! Why they can't just leave me alone so I can enjoy my sleep.
But like a flashback I remember meeting Alex at the coffee shop. After we went to meet Jungkook and his manger. As a thunderstorm many images came to my mind of what happened. I opened my eyes and I see white ceiling. I look around till my eyes meet Alex eyes. He was sitting next to me while holding my hand.
Alex"Hey, you are awake." He says with a sweet voice.
"Where am I? What happened??"
Alex"We are at the hospital. You fainted after we got out of the hotel room. You don't remember?"
Now I remember I was shaking and crying when my heart started to hurt. After that is like black, I don't remember what happened.
The idea that maybe something bad would happen to my baby came to my mind.
"What about the baby is he or she ok?!"
Alex" Don't worry the baby is in a good condition."
In that moment the door of the room open and Mel with a Doctor came in.
After Mel noticed that I was awake she run to me.
Meli "Are you ok? You scared me to death!"
I smile to her.
"I'm fine don't worry."
The doctor came near me. It was a man in his 50 with blu eyes and white hair.
Doctor" Miss. Luna how are you feeling?" He asked me with a gentle voice.
Luna" I feel a lot better now." And it's true I feel good now but I swear when my heart hurted I thought I would die.
Doctor"Listen Miss. Luna during the check up I found something about your heart. Are you aware of your heart condition?"
At listen of his question I got shooked. I have thought that I had some kind of a heart problems but I didn't thought that it was this serious.
Luna"I thought that I had some problems because sometimes it hurts me but I never went to see a cardiologist doctor." I answer his question.
Doctor"I see. Ok miss. Luna let me explain your situation. Mel"No thanks I'm ok."
After that he goes out.
Mel"You really scared me."
"This is all Jungkook's fault. I swear if I could have him here I would have beat him as much as I can!"
Mel"About that you know when Alex took you out Jungkook start yelling to his manger. As much as I understood it looked that Jungkook didn't know about the abortion. To be more specific, it wasn't his idea. He really was angry at his manger. They talked in korean too. I understand it a bit but I'm not really sure. But I guess that he said that he wants to take responsibility. After that the manger asked me to live them in privacy and that they will contact me later."
I have to say deep inside me i was relieved that Jungkook didn't want the abortion. The idea of him killing our baby broke my heart. But this doesn't fix the fact that he could have say something at the moment the manger said that.
Mel"After that I went out when I heard from some women that a girl fainted. I called you but you didn't picked up. I swear I freaked out till Alex called me back. I run here as fast as I could."
" I'm sorry it wasn't my intention. I felt bad."
Mel" Don't be sorry. Actually it's me who should apologize to you. You told me not to contact them but I did and I made you feel like this. It's all my fault."
"No stupid. Deep inside I wanted to. I just didn't have the courage to do it. It's better than this happened at least I feel free now. If my child in the future will ask me about his father. I can explain that I did the impossible to be a family but it didn't work. At least I will have no regrets"
Mel ringtone breaks our conversation.
Mel respond to the call but I notice her expression drastically changed.
Mel"What?" I can't tell who is on the phone but it looks that something is happening.
Mel"I see, so you are proposing this.. I can't give you an answer right now. I need to talk this with her first."
My curiosity is killing me with. Who is Mel talking to?!
Mel"I can't guarantee nothing. The previous conversation was pretty offensive against her. I understand...Ok than I will call you later to give you an answer after consulting with my client."
Client? Is she talking with her chief back home?! Did she had an Important case? I hope this trip didn't cause any problem to her.
After the phone call finished she looked at me with a weird look.
Mel"You can't imagine what my ears just heard!"
"Who was at the phone?" I asked her with curiosity.
Mel"Jungkook changed his mind he want to protect the baby. He wants to marry you."
If could have some water in my mouth I would have already spited out from the shook.
"Wait what?!"
Mel"I know this is crazy?! His manger just called me and told me that he want to marry you and that he expect to acknowledge the baby with his surname. I could here the disappoint tone in the manger voice. I even heard Jungkook voice on the background. I can't believe it!"
"You are joking right?" It can't be?! Why did he changed his mind. Like an hour ago they treated me like a trash and now he wants to marry me?! This is insane."
Alex came in with the coffee in his hand.
After he sees our expression he stops in the middle of te room.
Alex"What happened?!"
Mel"Jungkook changed his mind. He wants to marry Luna!" Mel says with a exciting voice.
But I notice Alex expression getting darker .
Alex"Is he a kid? Does he think this is a game?"
He says with an angry face.
A awkward silence fell into the room.
Mel"I think I'll better how and get a coffee. I think i need one to." She says and walked out of the room.
She doesn't drink coffee, but i guess she wanted to leave us talk. Since she saw Alex's angry face.
Alex" Seriously does he think that you are a toy or something?"
"Hey Alex calm down!"
Alex" Seriously Luna, didn't you heard what they said to you. They treated you in the worst possible way. You even fainted because of them. And now they call and say this. Are they not humans?"
He really seems pissed off.
"I know. I'm angry too."
Alex see me in the eyes and come and sit next to me. He took my hand .
Alex"Listen Luna, I don't know how this thing happened and to be honest I don't even want to know. I know you since you were a kid. We are grown together. I know you better than I know myself. I know your family too and they will never accept Jungkook. I know that you are a strong girl but this is to much for you too. You are even fiscal weak. You need someone to take care of you and the baby. Someone you can trust. I don't know personally Jungkook but he didn't gave me a good impression."
He take a deep breath and watch me in the eyes.
Alex"If you need someone near you it doesn't have to be him. As you told me you know him only because of a single night. And you said that you regret about it. I just want to say that I can be there for you if you want to. You just have to say my name and I'll be there unconditionally. So. What do you say?"
