Cop's Den 33 [✓]

Beyond ordinary understanding.

I refused to open my eyes for I knew that the world I was in would be gone, once I opened my eyes.
I knew this world would stay an acquaintance once I open my eyes, I could never get this back.

But we all know, there is this person, curiosity who pops out at the most wrong times... It has never shown up when I was in class learning Maths, but now when I don't need it a bit!

I was so curious, what held me so gently, made me feel like nothing I've ever been before. I still had that smile on my face.

I opened my eyes slowly...

A man, maybe my age, as charming as a sunflower held me in his arms, pushed the baby hairs on my forehead aside.

He was something I have never seen in my life...

Curly locks of the darkest brown  shade fell over his forehead...
Face as clear as a glass and a smile so charming... So charming...

His eyes were like a forest where I could lose myself and wander away. So, dark a shade of green...

Freckled and fabulous...

He got me back to my senses and got me back on my feet.

I was acting exactly like a toy who's battery just went out, which would stand with no life in it.

He waved his over my eyes trying to make me realise what was going on...

Ok now get to senses you dumb girl! I thought to myself..

He smiled and said,"Nice moves.."

Oh no!
This was embarassing!
I couldn't look him in the eyes, I was just.. Way too shy...

He was trying to catch my eye as I tried to move it away from his trap.

I looked up slowly and gave my hand out, "Rose...". His warm hand held mine, "Arthur", he said.

Our eyes met and I guess there was no way our eyes were gonna look away... It seemed like we were diving into each others' soul, a deep dive.

I wanted to stay right there, with him.

Suddenly his phone rang. We both turned away blushing slightly like the pink hellebores that bloom in late winter...
He looked at the phone, "I have to leave right now... We shall sure meet again, Rose..It was nice meeting you!"

He walked backwards, waving at me and letting out that entrancing smile..
The moments were beyond ordinary understanding...
With some happiness, I left to the library...
