"You like Connor." It wasn't a question, but a statement. I had blushed from the statement, confirming that I do in fact like Connor. Travis smirked at me while I his my face in my hands. I should probably introduce myself. My name is y/n l/n and I'm a daughter of Apollo. The Stoll twins, Connor and Travis, are my best friends. I suppose since my father, Apollo, and their father, Hermes, are such great friends, it isn't so hard for me to be best friends with them. I've known the boys since grade 2, long before we found out we were demigods and I've had a crush on Connor ever since.

"Why don't you just tell my brother that you like him?" The question had caught me off guard. I thought about the answer and said,

"Connor is one of my best friends and if I tell him how I feel, it could ruin our friendship and make things awkward between us. What if he doesn't feel the same way? I'm scared that I'll be rejected and left with a broken heart and that's something I don't want to go through. If I lose Connor, it will break me." I told Travis in reply to his question and I was being fully honest. I don't ever want to lose Connor. After a while of talking to Travis, I left the Hermes cabin and made my way to cabin 7, Apollo's cabin. When I got there, I walked over to the cupboard, grabbed my guitar, sat on my bed and began to sing.
