Two years ago, Stella Gardner first came to earth. She met her only friend whom she met online, Finn Wolfhard. They ran away, had their own little adventure, broke a ton of laws, fell for each other, then she had to go back. Her body couldn't take it, she just wasn't built for earth. But now she's back, to the foreign planet she wants to make her home. Since it's Finn's home, and the home of her mother, then she must fit in there, right?

Stella will have to learn how to live a normal life on earth after her surgery and return trip, as a human alien. She wants to do all the things that normal teenagers do, and cross off her bucket list. With Finn, it should be easy. But with everybody else wanting to uncover the still hidden mystery surrounding her and the events of two years ago, normality may pose a greater challenge than anticipated. An A-list celebrity and the first girl born on mars trying to live a normal life together won't easily be ignored by the rest of the world.

Although Finn and Stella have their names cleared by the government, and she's been given a completely fresh start, their story will be uncovered to the public. Whether they like it or not. It's up to them to tell it correctly and handle a situation that nobody else before them has ever come across. And, without a plan for the future as per usual with these two, anything can happen.

With all the chaos likely to ensue, Stella's first priority is her bucket list. She can only hope that Finn will be by her side to check all the items off.
