"Okay everyone quiet down. Today we have a new transfer student," The high pitched voice echoed in my ears as I felt my heart pounding against my chest.

Seriously, transferring schools is the worst.

Collecting my thoughts I opened the door slowly and walked in.

"Briefly introduce yourself please."

"Hello, I'm Chen Mei Ting please take care of me from now on," I mumbled as I avoided eye contact.

As I bowed, my legs began shaking from uncontrollable fear as many faces gazed at me in curiosity.

"Okay, Mei Ting go sit down in the empty seat... hm next to Jun Kai!"

His eyes widened then nodded pulling the chair out next to him.

All the girls in the class sighed and sent me death glares as I gulped.

Gut feeling. Things are going to be bad.

I forced an awkward smile at him as he nodded back politely.

I rolled my eyes as all the girls were crowding around Jun Kai's desk screaming and squealing.

Well... Mr. Popular Much?

I untangled my earphones and blasted music in my ears to block out the annoying screams.

Look at him acting all nice and smiley I bet he's a player.

"Xiao Kai~ Xiao Kai~"

Their whining was almost louder than my music.

What is he? An idol or what? Why does he have all these fangirls.

I stood up in annoyance and pushed past the girls as they squealed.

The sight of him burning holes through their hearts disgusted me.

Especially when the girls pathetically fought over for his attention.

Smirking to myself, at least I knew I wasn't as pathetic as them.

But It's normal every school has a guy or a girl like that.

"Hey, I'm Yu Wen! " Out of nowhere a young boy pops out in front of me with a huge smirk on his face.

"Well... Hey," I forcefully curved my lips into a smile.

Following on, another young boy grabs Yu Wen by the hair and flashes his rotting green teeth.

"Hey you're cute wanna hang out with us after school?"

"Um..."
Kinda gross.

Should I just pretend I can't Chinese and get out of this.

"Yea! Let's go karaoke okay?" Another young boy added.

"Wanna become my girl I'll buy you everything you want."

I slowly let out a sigh... These guys really are...

Annoying.
