Age: 21

Gender: Female

Wattpad questions:

Wattpad user name: Vicky_nfs

Writer of: "Carrying The Weight Of The World", "Absolute Contamination", "Letters To Be Told". I'm also working on 2 other stories that aren't uploaded on Wattpad yet, but hopefully will sometime in the future. I also have a couple of Poems on Wattpad under the name "Depths Of An Empty Mind"

What do you love most about Wattpad?

The way it has changed my life. I know that sounds cliché, but it did. Not in a drastic way, but more subtle. For example: I 'see' more than I used to, like when I'm watching TV, reading,  or when I'm on the bus, my brain doesn't stop working. I constantly notice possibilities for one of my stories, ideas pop randomly in my head, I notice funny aspects of someone's personality that I think might be perfect for one of my characters, and so on and on. Another thing, when I first found out about Wattpad I absolutely loved the endless amount of stories - still do, but unfortunately ever since I started writing I no longer have as much time to read. Something that might be worth mentioning is one of my thoughts when I first joined Wattpad: "This is heaven".

If you could add something to Wattpad, what would it be?

That's a tough one. It's not even a year ago that I joined Wattpad, but in that time, it has improved so much already. If I had to give one thing, I'd say that I wouldn't mind being able to save the stories I plan to read on some to-read list. It would be less overwhelming than having to bookmark every page. I know we have the library, but I like to keep that one for books I've read already.

Personal questions:

1.)  Favourite author: Another question I find really hard to answer. As a teenager I loved the books by Dirk Bracke, a Belgian author that no one outside Belgium probably even knows. But I really loved his books, they were all about abuse, deafness, muteness, aids, prostitution, poverty, racism,...it was the 'heavier' stuff to read.  I would also like to mention Cecilia Ahern, but I only really read "PS: I Love You". It was one of my favorite books for a very long time, way before it was made into a movie. Some of the other authors whose work I absolutely love are: Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games), Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments), Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy), Carrie Ryan (Forest of Hands and Teeth),...

2.)  First book you ever read?

I wish I remembered. It would be nice to know what book it was, but unfortunately I have forgotten. That's probably also due the fact that I've read quite some books already. When I was 14 years old or so, you'd always find me reading. Sometimes during Summer break I was so bored that I'd read 5-6 books a week. Okay, I'm a list-freak, so I'm absolutely sure I have a list somewhere with all the books I've read until a couple of years ago - though, I have no idea where to look for it. If I really strain my mind, I vaguely do remember receiving a book for my 9th birthday, it was part of a series called "Animorphs" and was written by K.A. Applegate. If I remember correctly, it was the 4th book and I think the title was "The message".

3.)  When did you write your first story?

I wrote the first lines to my very first story about 9 months ago, so March this year, which proves my point when I say I'm still 'new' to writing.
