You said it was impossible

I wanted to be a wolf

You said I wasn't good enough

Age 10:

I wanted to meet One Direction

I told you my dream

You said they were stupid

Age 12:

I wanted to be a doctor

I told you my dream

You said I'd never make it

Age 14:

I wanted to make some new friends

I told you my dream

You made everyone hate me

Age 16:

I wanted to transfer schools

I told you my dream

You made sure I couldn't

I wanted to go to college

I was in medical school

I'd gotten a part time job at a nursing home

I was lending you money until you could get back on your toes

You thanked me and your daughter grew up in a nice neighborhood.

You'd met a wonderful guy

You invited me to be the maid of honor
