"So... What do you want to know? My deepest, darkest secrets? My hopes and aspirations?"

"Your deepest darkest secrets?" Gabriel questioned, eyebrows furrowed.

"What, you'd rather learn what my favorite color is?"

Gabriel laughed softly, and Theodore figured he'd never get tired of the sound, "I'm easy to please. I'd love to know what your favorite color is."

"I don't have a favorite color. I don't really have a favorite anything... so, I guess that's that for this game of twenty-questions."

"Can you lose at twenty-questions because it feels like I just did."

Theodore smiled mischievously. He opened his bedside table's drawer and reached for the blunt and lighter. He lit it, took a drag and held it out to Gabriel, "Here. Your consolation prize. Loser."

"I wish, but I'm not allowed to."

Theodore gave him a deadpan look as he held up the joint, "Yeah, because this is medicinal."

Gabriel rolled his eyes, fondly, "You know why I can't, Theodore."

He exhaled smoke, "Yeah, because of the off chance you'll lose control of your magic and what, shoot laser beams out of your arse?"

The other boy snorted, "That would be the best case scenario."

Theodore chuckled,"That would definitely be a best case scenario. But okay, I get it. No drugs for you, no lasers coming out of your ass for me."

"I swear to fucking god, Theodore. I will have an actual serious conversation with you someday."

"I'd rather not. Sounds like you'd reprimand me." he joked.

"Yeah, you've been a very, very bad boy, Theodore."

His heartbeat returned to normal surprisingly quickly, "If I were kinky I'd call you daddy and ask you to punish me."

"If I were kinky, I would."

Their laughter died down at the words of Theodore's younger brother, "Are you talking about spicing up your sex life? Cause I can give you guys advice. Free of charge."

Both his and Gabriel's cheeks colored red. Theodore tried to hide his blush behind his hand, Gabriel played with his hair, "What the actual fuck, Oliver. Also, don't fucking eavesdrop."

Oliver's smile was wicked, "Sore subject?"

He was getting off on this, the dick.

"We're not having sex." It was Gabriel who spoke, and Theodore wished he hadn't, because Oliver's smile widened before his expression turned serious.

"Ah, I see. And how does that make you feel?"

"It makes me feel like I want to punch you in the face." The conversation had triggered a fight-or flight response in Theodore, and suddenly, his brother's face looked much more punchable than usual.

Oliver turned to Gabriel, "Blink twice if you're in an abusive relationship, Gabe."

"That's enough, Oliver." Gabriel said. He sounded authoritative. And hot.

"Alright. I'll stop. But not before I've told you that you look cute together. I ship it. Hope you work out." He'd hurried out of the room before either of them could respond. His laughter could still  be heard. Perhaps a good thing because the silence between the two of them was painfully awkward.
