"good morning mom" I said and looked for a mug

"good morning sweetie. They're in the box right there" she said

I grabbed a mug from the box. I looked for the coffee

"oh you're dad just loaded that box on the truck" my mom said

"Starbucks on the rode it is" I said

My mom chuckled. "are you okay Ava?"

"Yeah mom I'm fine" I said and smiled slightly

"I know leaving all of your friends, especially Matt and stuff is not easy, but I think California will be good for you. Especially now that you've graduated." She said

"Yeah mom, no worries." I said and walked upstairs

It was hard finding what to wear considering my dad had taken all of my boxes and luggage into the truck. I wasn't mad or upset that we have to move. I know this is good for my moms business than in Arizona. She's a hairdresser, so she opened her own salon in Beverly Hills. And my dad has business everywhere so for him it's no different where lives, my dads in construction. He owns his own company. It just sucks a little because I just graduated high school, literally last week. And all my friends are here, and my boyfriend now ex boyfriend Matt. We were together since freshmen year. But he's going to Kentucky for football. So it wouldn't have lasted much after this anyway. I ruffled through my luggage looking for an outfit,

It's all I could find. And driving 9 hours I honestly don't even care what I'm wearing. I walked downstairs. My dad was loading the rest of the things in the truck. My dad hired someone to drive the truck, with his car hooked on the back. They were driving together in my moms car, and I was driving mine. I walked outside and got into my white range. I waited for them to say to start heading out. I'm really going to miss Arizona. I have never known any where else.

I drove off behind my parents and the uhaul truck. We stopped at Dunkin donuts. I got out my car and walked to my parents car.

"here, get me an iced coffee, and 2 regular hot ones. Also get a dozen donuts" my mom said handing me a $50 bill.

I walked inside and order everything. I got the drinks and donuts and went back outside. I have my dad and the truck driver the coffee and donuts I took one, and went back into my car.

Off we were.

We finally arrived in California. It was almost 6pm. I looked at the neighborhood. The houses were huge, and beautiful. We stopped at one of them. I guess this my new home. I parked my car in the driveway. It's super nice.
