The sun began to set over Jurassic World. In the midst of the chaos, Owen was determined to reach the Velociraptor Paddock as quickly as possible for his fear of their release to hunt the Indominus was slowly coming true. Hoskins had absolutely no idea how to handle these creatures. The G-Wagon roared down the path in sixth gear, winding through the twisting roads and jungle trees. The SUV bounced through a massive puddle and Jonny was awoken. He fell asleep on Zach's shoulder and raised his head. "We're here" Zach whispered. Owen and Claire flung the doors open as a heavier set man approached them. "That Must be Hoskins" Gray pointed out. "The mother hen has finally arrived" Hoskins mocked. Without any hesitation, Owen falcon punched the man square in the jaw. "Woah!!" The boys said in unison. "That was epic" squealed Gray. "Come on Let's Go see some more action! I want in on it!" Jonny looked away before he started laughing. "Hell no man, let the adults handle this. It's their business" Zach stated firmly. "Wow look at you being a good brother" Jonny spat sarcastically batting his eyelids. Zach chuckled. "I guess this trip brought out the good in me and made me realize a lot of things" Zach disclosed. He noticed his little brother was totally tuning him out, so he took a chance. The older Mitchell turned quickly, leaning into Jonny's ear and resting a hand on his upper thigh. "But I can be a bad boy too" he whispered jokingly in a seductive tone. Jonny's heart rate went through the roof. He could have sworn the back seat of the G-Wagon was vibrating. "Not here!" Jonny whined as quietly as he could, trying not to screech. Thankfully Gray was oblivious and in his own world at the moment. Zach scooted back on over to his seat and they both laughed at each other.
Claire walked back to the SUV and opened Gray's door. "Do you boys want to check out the raptor paddock?" She asked sweetly. "Yeah!" Gray squeaked almost sprinting out of the car. Zach and Jonny got out on the opposite end and made their way to the main fence where all 4 raptors were being held. Gravel crunched beneath their feet as the boys observed the area. There were big lights, a cage shaped like a huge octagon, workers and ATV's everywhere. Zach, Gray and Jonny reach the fence where Owen is taking care of the raptors, each adorned with trackers around their necks. "Are they Safe?" Gray asked. Owen turned around to look at the boy. "No, they're not" he replied. "What are their names?" Zach asked. "Well you got Charlie" The buff man pointed. "There's Echo, here is Delta and this one is called Blue. She's the Beta." "Who's the alpha?" Gray questioned. "You're looking at him kid" Owen smirked. The boys laughed at his badass remark.
Claire walked up, staring at him with admiration through the fencing. "We should put the boys in the Veterinary Unit over there to be on the safe side" He pointed. "Let's Go" Zach nodded, acknowledging the two wanted a minute to talk.
Once more, Gray nearly dashed over to the Unimog Ambulance. "It's so crazy we're here right now. In this situation" Jonny muttered, his shining blue eyes gazing into the distance. "I know. It's definitely not what anyone had in mind" Zach replied. Gray took a seat on the Unimog's rear bumper, still looking happy despite all that's happened so far. His older brother smiled at him for his courage.
A look of worry brushed over Jonny's face as he put his hands on his hips, shifting all of his weight to one leg. "Something's wrong" he sighed. The boy stared at the ground, shaking his head. Zach took notice instantly, placing both hands on Jonny's shoulders. "Listen" he began. "We made it this far, mainly because of you. You've been the reason I want to be strong. I refused to leave when you were tangled back there and I refuse to let anything happen to you now. You're the only match for me Jonny, you are the one I wanna be with" the boy confessed, softly rubbing circles with his thumb on Jonny's shoulders. "Really?" Jonny Said softly, shifting his weight back over. "Really" Zach nodded in confirmation, leaning in for a kiss. Jonny leaned in, passionately kissing Zach. They both pulled away at the same time. Zach moved a hand to Jonny's waist "Come on, let's make this happen" letting go as Claire walked over.
"You boys ready to go?" She asked kindly. They nodded as she opened the big doors of the Unimog. "See. Totally safe" she reassured. Inside the truck, there were medical supplies in cabinets, medical bags, electric prods on the wall, oxygen canisters and 3 seats with a window directly at the back. "Alright get in" Claire motioned. Jonny took the left seat, Gray and on the right and Zach in the middle. "If you need me I will be up front, just open that window" The redhead pointed. "Put your seatbelts on". The boys couldn't find any seatbelts. "Alright, then just... hold hands" she assured, shutting the doors. Claire was very safety oriented. Clean cut and Organized. That's who she was and Jonny admired her for that.
"Um..." Gray stuttered. "Nothing's getting in here, right?". Zach turned to his brother. "Do you remember that ghost? At the old house? The one in the garage, I protected you. Right?" He whispered softly to his worried brother. "You made a battle axe out of a ruler and a paper plate" he chuckled with wet eyes. "Yeah" Zach laughed in awe. "See, nothing is gonna get you when I'm around, okay?" Gray's eyes darted for a second. "But you're not always gonna be around". Zach reflected for a moment. "Yeah well... hey, we're brothers. We'll always be brothers and we'll always come back to one another.... no matter what". "No matter what?" Gray asked. "No matter what" Zach reassured. "And you too" he said turning to Jonny. holding his hand. Gray leaned into Zach's side for a hug. Noises of Owen's motorcycle and another ATV could be heard in the near distance. "I think it's showtime" Jonny said. The unlocking mechanism was released on the gates. All 4 velociraptors could be heard, pounding on the gravel and the small vehicles peeling off into the distance. Jonny's sharp gut feeling still wouldn't leave him alone. Something terrible was about to happen.
