God to His Daughter

12 4 0

We stand beyond the globe like distant stars

And watch the earth roll, turning from the light.

The grown speak of a world in disrepair,

A waning day and everlasting night.

But in my palm I hold a polished gem,

As white as quarts with surge of sapphire flame.

I hold you close, my pearl, and watch the world.

You burn into my chest which burns for you.

You're small, unknown, from nowhere, unforeseen,

My perfect secret weapon hid away

Whose power lies in beauty none have seen.

Today rest in my arms and smile at me.

Tomorrow warn the dark for lightning strikes.

You, my love, shall shatter darkness.

Go, my love, and shatter darkness.
