"Sodapop...? Sodapop, please wake up," the teen girl hovered over her twin brother. Tears streamed down her pale face that was all cut up from what had just happened.

She was scared. Deathly scared. She didn't know what to do. She was left in complete shock, complete disgust, she didn't feel like human.

The boy stirred in his sleep, slowly waking up and looking up at his sister. When he saw the look on her face, he rushed to switch the lamp on at his bedside. He then turned back to his sister and pulled her down beside him.

He wrapped his arms around her tightly, letting her sob on his shoulder. He stroked the back of her head.

"Kella, Rikella, please tell me what happened," he worriedly asked. Tears were now starting to fall from his eyes, but the two tried to keep quiet so they wouldn't wake their two brothers sleeping in the next rooms over.

"I, I was just.. sitting there, working on my prom dress..," she paused, attempting to catch her breath, "he, he came in through the door. M-My window was locked."

"Who?" Sodapop questioned. The girl stayed silent, "who Rikella? Please tell me who."

"I don't know, I don't know. I didn't really get to see his face. He ran off when he was.. when he was..," she trailed off, not being able to finish her sentence, and sobbing in her brothers arms.. Her breath hitched. She tightly grabbed onto the back of her brothers shirt as they hugged.

Suddenly, their older brother and younger brother came rushing into the room. Darry stopped in front of the bed and looked down worriedly.

"What happened?" His voice was shaky. He was scared. He'd never seen his sister cry. She was always strong, and always had a smile on her face.

Sodapop looked up at Darry with guilt on his face. He said three words to the brothers that made their hearts stop.

Darry turned to Ponyboy quickly, "Pony, go get the gang, and on your way out, lock the doors."
