I wish for love

I wish for happiness

The warmth of joy

The tenderness of love

In my world of

Inimitable cold

My eyes search for

The ill-fated light

That is no more

My hands grope for

A warmth

That has long-since been replaced

By the harshest cold

It has aways been eating away at my heart

My will is about to break

Soon I will have to give into

The darkness

But before I go

I'll look up to the sky

One last time

Still searching for a light

A tiny star appears

And I look to the star

With pleading eyes

And wish to be freed

To be free from

The darkness

That dwells
