Chapter 2- It’s Final
After a 20 minute drive from Jacob’s I finally arrived home. By now I was grumpy. What was so important that it couldn’t wait till later? or tomorrow morning? I sighed as I parked my car in the Garage and hopped out. I entered the house and threw my keys on the hallway bookshelf.
“I’m home!” I shouted. “What was so important that I had to come now?” I walked into the lounge and there sitting on the couch with Duke and my mum and dad was my cousin Lucas. What the Hell?!?
“Hello there Demi-lee, long time no see” He said whilst giving me his oh so familiar smirk.

I stood there in shock at the sight in front of me. Was that really Lucas? How many years has it been since I have seen him? Like 6 or 7.
“Lucas?” I asked still in shock. What was her doing here? He lived so far away from here.
“Well well, someone has grown up to be quite the looker” He said smirking, pulling me out of my thinking. I blushed when I realised that he just complimented me. He hadn’t seen me after I had everything done, with the help of Holly and Pierre’ of course.
“You like?” I said and gave him a twirl. I watched as his crystal blue eyes scanned my body. He has changed so much. He’s not the boy I once knew. No, now he was a 22 year old man, a very hot looking man I must say. I’m not into him, if that’s what you’re thinking, he’s my cousin but it’s just a pure fact, he’s hot.
“I definitely like” he said smiling, showing off his perfect teeth. Two can play at that game. I smiled back showing my perfectly perfect pearly white’s. Before I left Sydney and came here, I had god-awful teeth and had braces put on. Luckily after I moved here at the time of my transformation, I had them removed.
Lucas stood up from his seat as I walked over and approached him. Compared to my height at 5’10’ which I must say is pretty tall, he was a good 6 inches taller. I reached out and wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging his toned chest. I could feel his muscles through his thin t-shirt. He hugged me back tightly cutting off my airways.
“I missed you cousin” He said into my right ear.
“Cccaannnt-bbrreeeaavv” I said in between my efforts to gasp for air.
“What?” he asked pulling back. A loud sigh escaped my mouth. I breathed heavy breaths in and out of my lungs.
“I said I can’t breathe, but I’m all good now, I missed you too by the way” I said giving him a lop-sided smile and reached up ruffling his messy blond hair.
“Oh sorry there cuz” he apologized while rubbing the back of his neck. Haha! He still does that! Years ago, whenever he was sincerely sorry about something or when he was extremely nervous he would rub the back of his neck. Hmm I wonder what else is the same?
“Well, I think now I’m going to have to hide you from my friends, cause’ one look at you and you’ll be on their ‘hit’ list” He said winking. ‘Hit’ list huh? Wow my cousin is sure to be a player if he talks and has friends that are like that. I wonder who his friends are. Is he still best buds with that Evan guy? I heard my dad clear his throat. Barnacles! I totally forgot that my whole family was still in the room watching us. By the look on Lucas’s face I think he forgot as well.
“Son, if you talk like that I might just change my mind about letting you take her” my dad said giving him a serious face. What the hell is he talking about? Take her? Take who?
