Chapter One

"When you grow up, you can choose anyone that you want." my Dad told me while fixing my hair tie.

I pursed my lips trying to understand him. My eldest sister is getting married today. I don't understand why she needs to be with Kuya Daniel after this occasion. Daddy said that after they get married, they will go to Manila. I hate that. I will miss my Ate Viola but I don't have a choice.

"Even peppa pig, Daddy?" I asked him without thinking.

He laughed hard before pinching my right cheek. He said I can choose anyone to be with me forever. I want to be with Peppa pig and her family! They are so cute! I named our pig Peppa and George but the don't looked like the one I'm watching.

"When you grow up, let's talk about this again," he said before standing.

I pursed my lips. I still can not understand why my Ate needs to leave.

I grew up with that phrase. 'I can choose whoever I want to marry'. Daddy will do everything to give us what we wanted and what we deserved and Daddy proved that when my second sister married the love of her life, Kuya Gio. The Governor's son who is promised to someone else.

My sister liked the Governor's son. After a few months of conflicts and discussion, they got married and left me, again.

I'm fine with that since I was always alone in our Mansion. I was the youngest and believed to be the one who will manage our farm. I have a lot of plans and Daddy said that I need to study more for that. I need a proper training ang education.
Kailangan kong lumipat ng Maynila dahil mas matuturuan ako doon.

Mas mataas ang quality ng edukasyon doon. He wanted me to study abroad, too but I refused.

"Why don't we just go shopping? This is stressing me out," maarteng sambit ni Alicia, isa sa mga naging kaibigan ko ng makalipat ako.

"Yes, I think that is a good idea." sabat naman ni Anika na nagsimula ng mag-ayos ng kaniyang gamit.

I need to make sure that I will pass that with flying colors.

Unlike them, I wanted to pass this exam. Alicia is the Governor's daughter.
