Hallucinations must be in season now...
Are we starting trends?
The morning rays seeped through the blinds and into my eyes, forcing them open and waking me up.
With a slight groan, I pulled myself up out of the warmth of my comforter and trudged into the restroom.
Ignoring my tired appearance, I bent down over the sink and splashed water on my face, trying to wake up.
After drying my face, I took one last look in the mirror.
My reflection in the small mirror above the sink was horrifying. So horrifying in fact that I had yelled a curse and jumped back from sheer shock.
Two glowing white eyes stared back at me, a malicious smirk on their face.
The Other chuckled darkly at my reaction, his white eyes squinting, and held up two bloodied hands.
I stared in horror as he wrote three words with the blood.
'He Is Coming'
I gasped and staggered out of the bathroom, slamming the door shut.
My breathing rushed, I slowly cracked the door open again.
The mirror was back to normal, no blood, no other.
I let out a shaky sigh and ran a hand through my curly hair.
It's just a hallucination, nothing more I told myself, forcing my tense muscles to relax.
I finished getting ready for the day with no other signs of Him and allowed myself to relax more.
Just a hallucination.
I shook my head and chuckled to myself as I walked out my door and into the kitchen.
Silently, I grabbed a bowl and fixed myself some cereal, catching Mitch's eye as I sat at the table.
"Morning." he muttered.
I nodded. "Are we going to record that update v-log today?"
"That's the plan."
I smiled and finished my food quickly, placing the bowl in the sink, then walked back up the stairs.
Half an hour later everyone was gathered on the large couch in the living room, a camera set up on a tripod before us.
"We ready?" Ian asked, adjusting the camera.
I offered a slight nod as everyone else muttered a yes and Ian started the timer, striding over to the couch and sitting next to Quentin.
I mentally counted down the seconds until the camera started recording and waited.
"Hey what's going on guys, Team Crated here!" Jerome exclaimed the intro.
The video progressed with discussions of upcoming series on our channels and the convention we would be going to in the near future.
Everything was going smoothly, until that is, I noticed Mitch looking at me, almost fearfully.
I shot him a confused look, trying not to make it obvious for the camera.
My effort failed, though, as Mitch's fist was thrown into my face.
Well... that could've been written better...
